  1. Linus is right about 2025. Android 10 will be available on actually buyable smartphones as late as my replies to LTT videos. Every time I was buying an Android, it was already outdated out of the box and never received major OTA. In December 2018 bought a brand new Samsung running Nougat. Initially there was Oreo update promised, but then cancelled. Oh yeah, promising Oreo update 10 months after Pie release and cancelling an update that would be outdated anyway. Considering other problems such as poor performance, delayed WhatsApp notifications, and no 5GHz WiFi, I told myself "enough" and took a loan to buy iPhone Xʀ. Then I sold a Samsung to my colleague for half the price, his Honor broke and he doesn't like iPhones, so he is happy. Android sucks and Android 10 won't fix it until it's on all brand new phones in stores which won't happen.
  2. Here in Russia, Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme costs half a year federal minimum wage after taxes for a full-time job. One can work for 6 months, save all the money while having necessities covered by someone else, and earn enough money for X570 motherboard. That's what I call super expensive.

  4. Emm, because PCs have only one M.2 NVMe and one M.2 SATA? When upgrading from 960 Evo 250GB to 970 Pro 1TB, I had to boot from HDD, use Veeam Agent to backup 960 Evo, then replace the drives, boot from HDD again and use Veeam Agent to deploy the backup.
  5. Don't get fooled, he is a cheater. A simple search reveals that Choopa is not a last mile ISP. It's a data center. https://www.choopa.com/
  6. My solution was booting from HDD and making old M.2 backup, then installing new M.2 and deploying the backup there. This software just worked: https://www.veeam.com/windows-endpoint-server-backup-free.html
  7. Yeah, Lubuntu sucks. I used it on a laptop. I had Leafpad, Lubuntu's default text editor, erase file content instead of saving it. Now yet another Linux data loss bug.
  8. Just checked. It happens in Firefox 56, but not in Internet Explorer.
  9. Every time I open or reload this forum, JBL T450BT headphones make me listen to white noise. It lasts for 30 seconds. Muting all forum tabs doesn't help. DAE have this problem?
  10. I bought 650W power supply for $200. BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 11 (BN251). Less wattage, 8 times more expensive. In LTT tier list it's under "ultra high-end". BeQuiet Straight Power 11 E11-450W (BN280)
  11. Threadripper for $290? I spent $250 on Ryzen 5 1600.
  12. For me $500 video card is no dollar wasted. In December 2017 I bought 1080 Ti blower for $940 and considered myself lucky.

  14. Interesting self-censorship. Yes, different price points please.
  15. Same. Early April Fools joke? I am not sure I watched the RAID video, but Linus is so young in that thumbnail, it's obvious the video is several years old.
  16. And these were my first: Siemens A35, Siemens A50, Siemens CX75. First two were hand me downs. CX75 was bought for my 11th birthday.
  17. If you don't work, you have time to do things you enjoy doing, but no money. If you work, you have money, but no time. This makes so little sense, I wish my parents never met.
  18. Fixed. https://www.androidheadlines.com/2019/01/google-search-spoofing-bug.html
  19. What you described is called "confirmation bias". And confirmation bias isn't technically false search results. After clicking on the result there is that exact claim you "asked". For example, I search "Bush did 9/11" and get 125000 results where it's written. You confirmed that the issue described in this topic is that if you click on the link there in nothing that claims so.
  20. It's RGB time! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M30fAvrpj18&time_continue=87
  21. Except CPU is one generation old. In 8600K replace 8 with 9. Those who dislike Coffee Lake refresh release should go with 8th gen, but this is not about OP. Motherboard officially supports it, but I don't know about VRM quality and H310 chipset limitations.
  22. Oddly specific. Anyway, assuming gaming, check out these. This is NOT "go and buy these exact components". Just food for thought. https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/PRXscf/excellent-intel-gaming-build https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/MLXscf/great-amd-gaming-build While waiting for other people's replies, tell us your resolution and refresh rate, if you already have a monitor.
