  1. Deleted my monitor from device manager but that didnt help. Gonna try deleting the other two you suggested. By the way forgot to mention that every time i restart the pc in the windows loading sreen it start off with the correct resolution, but after a few seconds the screen flashes and the resolution changes to the wrong one. Maybe there's a windows program that causes it on the start up and i can somehow stop it from doing it?
  2. I turned my pc on this afternoon and my resolution was completely different from what it was this morning. After doing some research i found out that my monitor.inf file was updated automatically when i booted up the pc and when i try to change the resolution there is no right option. I have tried setting up a custom resolution with Nvidia control panel but right after i select the display and hit "apply" the screen just flashes and it goes back to the same display it was. What I also did was reinstalling graphics drivers but it gave no results. Anyone got any ideas what could fix the problem?
  3. It's in the green port, there's only one audio device displayed so i can't even select a wrong device.
  4. Hello, So I have just installed a new motherboard (Biostar A9600+V2) and when I booted up my pc there's no sound. I cannot hear anything nor my microphone works. Headphones are being detected my windows, sound meters in "playback devices" are reacting when i test the device but there is no sound. I have tried reinstalling audio drivers, even tried disabling/enabling audio related optoins in BIOS but nothing helped. Anyonee got any ideas what could solve this problem?
  5. A little update... After playing a little with the RAM placement in the slots and finally returning them back where they were (2-4) I managed to get all 8Gb detected by windows. However now it says I have 8Gb RAM but only 5.25Gb usable. EDIT: After doing this I tried changing the memory usage in msconfig and after restarting it's finally using all 8Gb of RAM.

I have tried reseating my RAM to different slots but it didn't help.(RAM's are in 2-4, tried switching to 1-3) I have tried changing memory usage settings in msconfig, but after restarting nothing really changed and stayed the same as before.(settings in msconfig remained the ssame after restarting)
  8. Hello, I have bought a used pc a few months ago and since the first time I turned it on it was making a weird noise. I thought it was one of the fans so I cleaned everything and lubricated all fans expecting the noise will disappear. However it didnt solve the problem. A few weeks ago the pc randomly shut down for the first time and I was not able to power it up again for some time. Now after a few weeks with this problem i know this much: 1) I can turn the pc on and use it for 3-5 hours before it shuts down 2) I cannot turn it back on right after it shuts down, it only works after a few minutes or so, however it shuts down again after being on for a short period of time (from a few seconds to a couple of minutes) 3) The noise is coming from the psu (not the fan, the psu itself) On the psu cover it says thats it's a 620W psu and It comes along with the pc case that i have Logic A11.
