Testmann got a reaction from Enderman in Is there a way to "fix" gpu coil whine?
Sometimes you can. I've succesfully RMA'ed two different coil whining PSUs. The retailer/manufacturer has to be a good guy though.

But would an old AMD quad core (slow single-threaded performance) have been any better than luke's dual core?

@nicklmg
Watching your superfun video and one question popped up.
Where are you going to put a bathroom in your new office/warehouse? There doesn't look like much is there for plumbing. I mean you need to do your business somewhere but the server takes priority.

Testmann reacted to LukeTim in Battlefield 4 finally fixed! (longest patch notes you'll ever see!)
Did they put the server browser in-game and not inexplicably in a web browser?
Until then, it's not fixed... at least not on PC.

Maybe this kind of open development just isn't for you. This approach of early access to information, demos and even hands-on software has _never_ been done before so If you compare it to other of the tons and tons of demos you have seen before then you are are making a bit of a fool of yourself. Also by resorting to profanity.
They stated beforehand and very clearly that at that stage not even a publisher would see a build (who gets to see stuff months before the public). You can either appreciate their openness or ignore it and wait until they have something they consider beta status. In your case you do not seem to have a deep understandung of software development (which is totally ok), and I understand if you feel agitated because you do not know how to categorize seeing software this early in its development process - months before anyone else would do any demos. Being a Dev (not games though) myself I was impressed, like really impressed.
Anyhow, lets hear the man himself had to say about it after the presentation:
Edit: corrected a few typos, making less of a fool of myself ;-)

Testmann got a reaction from ForeseenVisionz in Need a fan controller to turn fans all the way off
I've got an Asrock Z77 Pro4, but it's not a good board, really. I've already been messing around with SpeedFan, and i found, that i didn't like it being automatic and rather that i could just manually reach down and flip a switch or something. At least that's what i've come to love with the built in fan controller in my Define R4.
Thanks for the tip though. I'm already thinking of getting an Asus board the next time around. (Which won't be for another 1 or 2 generations) I may try their utilities out by then and see how it works, and how i like it!

Testmann reacted to Lord Pantaloons in Intel 5th gen desktop CPUs is leaked to support new IRIS grapichs
Iris Pro 5200 is decent, definitely better than what we had before.
Also to those who bash integrated, three things:
1. It isn't aimed at you
2. your opinion on integrated is irrelevant
3. STFU

Why no G-Sync. All I care about is G-Sync IPS 2560x1600/1440 60hz panels. Also not by Asus. I am boycotting all Asus products after the disaster that is Xonar.
