Are 2 780Ti 3GBs Future Proofing Enough?
datcrispypancake replied to datcrispypancake's topic in Graphics Cards
Sometimes games use more VRAM than necessary and after a few drivers, the application is more efficient on the amount of VRAM usage. Think about Battlefield 4, for instance. -

I hope you aren't forgetting how badly optimized AMD video cards are for Watch Dogs... -

I know future-proofing isn't really a thing in the component world, but I just don't want to spend around 1500 and get screwed over because of lack of VRAM. Would a different card meet my needs better? -

Will 6gb VRAM make a difference in this regard, Rorgash? -

That's true, but the main question is should I wait for the 6gb model, or will 3gb be good enough, at least for a couple of years? -
Hi all, I've been contemplating picking up two EVGA 780Ti 3GB Classified Editions and was wondering if I would be able to play most games on 1440p maxed at 60fps for the near future. The question I had was should I hold off until the 780Ti 6GB comes out (if at all)? Hello all, I've been wandering through the internets many hardware-oriented forums and yet I can't figure out which "quiet" case fan is the best. I'm looking for good performance, reliability, and super quietness. Thanks!
