You can also implement explicit registration requirements (think like how you have to sign into a hotel or plane wifi). I know the edgerouter has this capability, it is called captive portal. Ofcourse, this is almost 100% not necessary, though it can raise the bar of entry significantly.

The key here is if this is just people connecting to an open wifi connection, versus you having someone explicitly target your network that is using malicious tools and techniques to gain access, (stuff like deauths).

for the former, you just have to bite the bullet and lock down your network. for the latter, it may be worth consultation with a third party security firm, as well as contact with law enforcement.

There is another potential option, that you intend to bait people onto your network in order to deliver malicious payloads, in which case I would say, don't do that.

Or, and hear me out. Instead of trying to do something convoluted and malicious. You could try increasing your wireless security.

Just a thought. It's not hard. Use your own complex password that you can remember. Use the highest encryption that all your devices support (usually WPA2-PSK but there are higher standards if devices support it). If you want to get really paranoid about it you can setup an ACL and only allow certain clients based on their MAC. You can also blacklist MACs but that would be pointless if you have persistent unwelcome people connecting.

You could also segregate it into a separate subnet so it's harder for them to see anything you're doing on your wired network.

Nothing is fullproof but making it more annoying for them to try and use is usually a good deterrent.

honestly its fine... barely a difference to 5600x, but more importantly its more than enough for a 3050...

kinda really depends if you want an igpu or not.

Bottleneck cannot be measured as it depends on the application.

Also this: 5000 series might not even work without a BIOS update so u need a flashback option that doesn't require a different CPU

So for that 1% (being pessimistic) chance you're just going to sacrifice performance the rest of the time? You know a 5600G isn't just a 5600/X with integrated graphics tacked on, right? If it was it would cost more. In CPU performance it's more like a 3600.

What if your GPU breaks? It is nice to have a backup in this case. The 5600G is 50$ cheaper than the 5600x, and the Vega graphics inside are comparable to an RX 550.

depends entirely on how you use it. resolution, refresh rate, what games you're playing, etc.

But bottleneck aside, you could improve the build a bit. I recommend getting a ryzen 5 5600 instead of a 5600G so you can benefit from the increased cache, and you should get a motherboard that has a BIOS flashback button like the MSI B450 tomahawk, so that you can have an appropriate BIOS version for a 5000 series CPU.

That's not something that can be measured universally. If a game requires more CPU resources than the 5600G can provide, you will have a bottleneck. Otherwise you don't. Since you want a discrete GPU, there's no particular need for a CPU with an iGPU, so you could always get the 5600, as was suggested, which should have a bit more legroom.

For simply development / testing, you can use XAMPP, LAMP, WAMP, or a similar software package. Once you've got the development handled, you'll want to move to a linux box or linux based Virtual Machine with properly setup internal DNS pointers within the subnet.

I think you need external ip, domain connected to that ip, Apache or other web server (fenix for example for HTML only) and that's it.

In most cases this solution will be worse than buying virtual webserver. You need computer that runs 24/7 and that is cost too. And this computer must be fast enough if your website uses php and complex scripts. You also need internet with fast upload.

Take a look at the downloads page for your motherboard and/or computer model, grab the audio drivers and Dolby related software, give them a reinstall, see if it fixes your issue.

There are tools like Recuva, and several paid ones. Important thing is to not use the drive you want to recover from. If they are important files, you should pay professionals to do it. (always backup before doing stuff that might f up your drives)

Don't do factory reset / reinstall / clean install. That's my advice. If it works - keep it that way. After few years you'll see that everything works without factory reset. And even better.

Unless you want to sell your laptop.

You can download drivers from Lenovo's support site. But you shoulnd't worry too much. Drivers are installed as part of OS. If you have deleted files in Drivers folder, that means only that you have deleted installers, not the drivers themselves. To delete actual drivers, you need to go to Device Manager.

Enabling virtualization allows newer builds of Windows 10 to more effectively isolate processes, and hence, hypothetically increases the security and stability of the machine.

Its not just about running VMs anymore.   The newest Windows kernels use the features to provide memory protection to even ordinary uses running ordinary processes.

Most CPU Nowadays overclock themselves to a certain safe point based on load and cooling potential. In that case if you dont put your laptop on a surface and keep it open air it should overclock higher since the air outtake is not blocked.
