@gucciguy cant undervolt it. @Brent744 model is p206tx. i5 5200u and gt 830m. @Gareque I have cleaned it many times, but it does not do anything. @Lagercat1 yes the fan is working. @Benjeh its not the gpu that is heating it is the cpu. Even without the games, the cpu sometimes start thermal throttling even when i am just watching a video on chrome. @belfouf yes i have cleaned it thoroughly but it doesn't do shit. Nope i did not tempered with the voltage.

Bought this laptop 4 yrs ago. I have changed thermal paste couple of times. Air flow is good.

@Shimejii It may be low end but I used to play most multiplayer games at 35-50 fps. But now I cant. @trevb0t Yes the cooler is working. I have confirmed that. @faziten that happens when I dont play game. When I start a game it goes up. When I put load on the cpu, it starts thermal throttling.

Hello, My cpu becomes too hot when i game. It causes fps drops. I used to play fortnite with 50+fps now , i cant go upto 30. I played league of legends with 100+fps but now I cant go up then 60. Yes, I dont have fps capped at 60. Can someone tell me how to fix this. I have cleaned it, applied good thermal paste but still the issue isn't resolved. At iddle the temps are above 70 C and while gaming it goes upto 100C. Need Help.

Hello, I have a HP P206TX Laptop. My CPU at idle is around at 80 C and when I am watching a video on youtube it goes to 95-100 C. Can anyone help me? I can't play any game. When I start a game it crashes. The temps just constantly jumping between 60-100 C. There was no issue before just started about 2 weeks before. Thanx
