Fontaine reacted to Kilrah in How can I use 2 internet connections on one PC?
As the video says it's downright impossible to speed up a single "task" e.g download over multiple connections without infrastructure like iTel has where they have servers on a big connection somewhere else that reassemble the packets before sending them where you need them to go.

Yeah and not many reviewers really cover ultra-wide benchmarks.

I actually do a bit of guess work as 2560x1080 is right in between 1080P and 1440P, so looking at both gives me an idea of what I'll get.

In your case, it really will be some guess work. I am impressed by your performance with the 5700XT though.

Hitting around 60 fps, give or take, in games I've tired so far either on high or very high so happy with that. Love the screen, game changer! Make everything feel like a true upgrade! Do it people, do it....

Considering that "most titles" are actually not new, yes. If you're asking for info about modern titles, than it's going to come very close to 60 FPS at high in most modern titles for that resolution. (it's about 7/8ths the number of pixels as 4k, and 4k high will usually get about 45-60 FPS on a 5700 XT) Now you just have to hope the games you want to play support that resolution.

There's also an 011 dynamic "air" but it turns out to not be as good in some areas.

only thing is you have to buy all your own fans for it. so the price is really more like $150

011 Dynamic or 011 Dynamic XL

I've been asking coolermaster to make a HAF XB successor forever to no avail. You can duct tape 2 Q300Ls together if you really wanted to though. Or find a Thermaltake Core X9, but they're out of production and expensive at retail.

No one really makes cubes cases like the HAF XB or Core Series anymore sadly.

Nope!  This monitor at 34" is one sexy display.  Make the purchase you won't regret it.  I have a friend who just bought this LG 34" UltraGear and he is telling me the graphics look sick and so bright and what not.

1440p 144hz would be a solid choice for a new monitor. If that is what you might upgrade too 5700XT it is

I’d go for the 5700 XT. It trades blows with the 2070 Super for less money.

You wont see or notice a difference between the 2 in audio or video editing work flows.

    Short answer. Because they can.

Other than that, if you have no incentive to upgrade, economical or otherwise, you can get away with some pretty old hardware if you have intimate knowledge of your resource usage for the software you use. Then there's stuff like performance envelopes you wish to abide by (1080p/60hz/144hz etc). I have to stress though, that an R9 290 when brand new was a pretty damn good performer. So, for most games, you fell into the bracket of buying good now, and upgrading later. If you had something like an R9 270 or something, I believe you'd be singing a somewhat different tune. Sure, it can do the same things, but the difference is how it does it.

There is also the matter of ease of use. Heftier performance generally nets you a more streamlined user experience without the need to tinker with your software or games to even things out. You just crank options up, max any presets, jump in and forget about it.

Well I got the R9 290 Tri-X and I love it. Beast of a card! Also chucked in a LG 34" UM65-P monitor which I also love! Turned out to be an expensive upgrade at circa £700
