  1. How would this do for something in the creator space? Texturing, 3D modelling and Sculpting in tandom with a tablet? I've been looking for a right handed version of a keyboard mouse options like the Razer Tartarus but there isn't much available? Being left handed if there are other options that'd suit that niche spot better i'd love some recommendations .
  2. Yep so, I got furmark installed for the gpu stress test. As soon as it started, ran it with 4 sticks l blackout fast fans straight away, ran it with 2 sticks blackout fast fans straight away and swapped the 1070 blackout fast fans straight away.
  3. I thought possibly psu... It's not at capacity. 640w max according to pcpartpicker. I'd have to find the cords again and give that a try.
  4. That is not the exact issue i'm having but the mentioned "reseating the cpu" I might as well try that or anything at this point... I was going to do a bios flash and maybe even swap back to my old ram kit as the gpu issues never happened with that kit but I highly doubt that would be the cause for this issue. But the strange thing is any other gpu i swapped in, i wasn't able to replicate the issue that the 2080 was having? 1070, 1080 even a relic gts450 none of them replicated the issue the computer was having only this 2080...
  5. Start of with the build list. Threadripper 2970wx Asus Prime X399 32gb (4x8) G.Skill 3200mhz Geforce RTX2080 FE Cooler Master MWE 750w PSU So those are the parts of my 3D modelling and creation work station i've been using for the past 2/3 years now. It's been plagued by slow load times, the keyboard whenever typing randomly crashes any program on some startups "although this has been an extremely rare problem but only become frequent in these past couple weeks", the gpu in the past 3 weeks stopped displaying an output no fans would spin and the geforce badge wouldn't lightup. I sent the gpu off for warranty and the people could not find any issue with it or replicate the issue. The issue is extremely simple to replicate on my end just turn the pc on it will either replicate the issue or not. But i'm still getting the issue. After another repair shop looked at my computer they were unable to find what could be causing the issues either and got the computer to output a display... At least when they had it display for a short bit of time then would completely shut off the display and start spinning the fans at their highest. I do not know what is wrong with my computer and honestly in a panic as the warranty period coming close to it's end and the parts of the pc are expensive. I am in desperate need of help finding the culprit.
  6. I have my workstation that has pretty lackluster ram in it right now that I want to upgrade. AMD TR 2970wx RTX 2080 Corsair Vengeance 2666 2x8 I'm currently looking at the Team T-Create Classic 10L ram kit "2x32gb" atm as it's discounted at my regular retailer but I'm not good at checking for compatibility... Would this be a good upgrade for my workstation??? I mainly do 3D modelling/sculpting, video editing, etc the usual workstation tasks. If it's not I'll just play it safe with a better Corsair or gskill kit. https://www.pccasegear.com/products/51935/team-t-create-classic-64gb-2x32gb-3200mhz-cl22-ddr4
  7. I've been having some trouble with a select games in my steam library and some applications on my computer that i'm not quite sure how to fix. Recently a small number of games have been getting this green outline around the border of the the screen and the mouse once in the actual game "works in the menus", but once actually in game will stop responding pretty much. It started with a steam game called "The Designer's Curse" and it's spread to a few others but all the same thing; green outline and dead mouse cursor when in game. I can show the green outline but can't really show the dead mouse... I've tried uninstalling the mouse drivers and reinstalling, updating every driver i have, downloaded and installed the dedicated mouse software and changed the polling rates and currently updating the Nvidia graphics but so far nothing has been working.
  8. So i'm in the process of window shopping to build myself a new system. I've set my mind of doing a themed build this time around, with the theme being Daft Punk. I've never done a themed build before so I need all the help I can get and as many ideas as possible. My price range atm is between $2000 - $2500 , a bit limiting but I can always add more along the line.
