Asking for a friend, he was wondering which card is best getting, if the 1080 outclasses the 1070 ti by a mile he says he’s going to get it but if the 1070 ti doesn’t sacrifice that much performance than he’d prefer getting itif he could save

I live in Australia so they have to make a profit after shipping (that cost $100 if shipping from america or from overseas) and after conversion so i get a litlle bit swindled

I recently bought an i5 8600K and it was damaged during shipping and I got refunded with an 8700K I currently have a Corsair RM650x 650W gold power supply is this enough to power it?
I would personally recommend gigabyte. I have had a good experience from my current video card. Get the GTX 1080 G1 gaming, its a pretty good card from what I gather and I will be upgrading my whole system pretty soon and I am putting one of those in my system
The only thing I can recommend is change the cpu to an i5 8600k or not k model and get a 1080 with the money you saved. I am not sure if all the cables come in the box because I usually get my friend who owns a pc building company to build it for me as I don’t trust myself.
So I’m building a new PC and I can’t figure out what psu to buy and how many watts are required to run these at cost efficient but powerful speeds. Can someone recommend a psu or even just a wattage range here are the specs
Intel core i5 8600k
Asus prIme z370-a motherboard
16gb ddr4 Corsair vengeance lpx memory
250gb Samsung 850 sata ssd
1tb hdd we red
Be quiet dark rock 3 cpu cooler
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 gaming 8gb
it will be running on windows ten 64 bit in a phanteks eclipse p400s
thanks in advance
