  1. Hey guys so I recently OCed my 9900k to 5GHz but somehow only CPUZ and BIOS is reading it right, Task Manager is telling me I am at around 4.8GHz and Park Control is giving me 3.6GHz? Is this suppose to happen or did I do something wrong? Thanks!
  2. @Jurruniothanks for your detailed explanation in this post
  3. before i reset my cmos its 3600 now its 4000 which is nice but I am just curious as to what does profile 2 do
  4. I resetted the CMOS but i still cant see profile 2
  5. Thanks for the info I learned something new today. I am going to clear cmos real quick brb
  6. Just got my new 4000mhz hyperx predator today, I took out my 3200mhz trident Z and replaced all 4 sticks. Any changes I need to make in bios? my system boots and all but it does restart after like an hour or so (happened twice) I suspect some ram related settings is not configuration properly. Side note, I see theres an XMP profile 1 and profile 2. When I select profile 1 it gives me Profile 1 DDR4 3600mhz along with my timings but when I select profile 2 nothing pops up. Sorry if this is hard to read
  7. 4400MHz, also the reason why I made this post is that the HyperX is cheaper by like 40% and has a lower cas so I was wondering why that is.
  8. I know this sounds silly but I really want to get the best I can for my system
  9. I am not adding those and mix with my tridentZ, I am planning on buying 2x 16gb kits. Alright so are you saying I should get the HyperX?
  10. Hello! PC Hardware newbie here, right now I am using 4 sticks 8GB Trident Z 3200MHZ and I am planning on upgrading. My question is even though they are the same speed whys one much more expensive than the other one? Is it because one is CL17 and the other is CL19 also whats the difference? 11. @Falkentyne I hope this is what you are looking for. Also only choppy / laggy input no WHEA errors
  12. I bought this a while back, just never really got into it till recently, one of the big concern is that why would my game be really laggy when I do 1.3v? Is the CPU not getting enough power so its throttling itself? man... I feel like my local computer parts shop is just a big scam sometimes
  13. For some reason when I put anything under 1.38v at 5GHz for my 9900k I will get stutter / the game wont be smooth with really weird delays. Since I am not very good at OCing I had to follow some youtube video, can someone please go over my OC and tell me if I did anything wrong? Specs: 9900k at 5GHz 2080TI 32GB Trident Z at 3400 RM850X
