Not sure about the 1660 or NVENC for editing; One of the reasons we didn't go with a 1660 was because it had so much extra headroom that we weren't utilizing, and the 1650 wasn't limited in testing. NVENC doesn't really come up in Adobe Premiere, and come to think of it I don't know if it comes up in any NLE... Useful for transcoding to H.264 or H.265 using Handbrake or something I suppose, but not really for editing or exporting.

DaVinci Resolve Studio has supported NVENC encoding since version 15.2 which was released on November 14th, 2018.

and just so I've said it, rather a good fan than a cheap fan and 0 rpm mode

I saw you post this on a different thread:

rather a good fan than semi passive mode, because with semi-passive this happens (750w seasonic focus for reference, look at the rpm/fan noise graph)

    https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/seasonic-ssr-750fx-focus-plus-750-gold-psu,5206-5.html

    i can recommend the following

    pure power 11

    formula gold

    whisper m

    rmx

txm (though louder than the above)

    straight power 11

The Corsair RMX 550 and 650w are both $87.99 USD on Amazon right now. Thanks for the selection of quietish psu's I'll make a choice next paycheck.

just get Pure Power 11, no need for zero RPM mode when it uses $25-30 fan(Silent Wings 3) limited to 900ish RPM

Looks good but it's expensive, over $100 for the 500w version.

that's because there's no issue between those combinations, except for the riple on the later revision

    i'd suggest to read this:

I'd have no idea there was anything wrong with those based on the fier list. Looking at it some more there's the Corsair Vengeance 80+ Silver with a 0 rpm mode for $74.99, that seems to be the cheapest non Seasonic psu with that feature.

What would be the requested feature/improvement here? @Quickshot Gaming

I guess a filter for 0 rpm mode psu's, there's one for fanless currently.
