Good afternoon people. I have a strange situation going on right now, something is eating my RAM and i don't know what it is... In the task mananger it says that 97% ( 32 gb ) of the RAM is in use, and spotify is on the top list right now at 270mb sooo what? I noted the problem started when i had the BitTorrent application running, after starting using that again.. But i only have it running when I am not using the computer, and when I am playing games ( Aoe 4 & Mount Blade ) i close it. Started to get a warning message when I was starting them that there was low memory available.. So does anyone know what is wrong?

Budget (including currency): 10.000NOK Country: Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: light gaming, dota2 etc.. So a friend of mine is wanting to get a new computer, so i put something together that i think will work fine for him. Plan is to reuse his old cabinet but the rest is going to the bin. This is what i came up with. Tried to get it to around 10k NOK but ended up at almost 13k GPU : MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X Black OC Motherboard : ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WIFI Hovedkort CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 7600 CPU RAM : Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 5200MHz 16GB PSU : Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 V2 M.2 : Kingston KC3000 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD 1TB Cooler : be quiet! PURE ROCK 2 FX CPU does this look fine ?

No this is a brand new ASUS 650W, the old one was of the older types, cant remember which model but it was older. It was a 750W, but he is running a 1660TI and some older gen intel cpu, so power wise he should be plenty lf safe. But he has a buddy that works in a offshore subsea company so they are gonna have a look at it and measure if there is any life in the mobo. Maybe it also got fried, but again wierd since there are two led on the mobo which are getting power when it is turned on.

Tried without gpu also, and the connector both ways on pwr. The cabels have not been changed since he only switched the psu ans nothing else

Good question, probably and old psu dont know. But its strange the mobo lights are working then ?

Update. The rog led and sb_pwr led is blinking but nothing more

No havent, dont have any in spare... But should that make the computer not start at all?

Hello. A friend of mine fried his PSU and ordered an new one. Wheb they installed the new PSU ( Asus Rog Strix 650w ) i would not start again. The power sw cable is connected to the right place and we tried to jump start it but nothing... Motherboard is a ASUS B360-F. We get a green light in the ROG logo on the mono, but the sb_pwr led is constant orange, and then it goes away after awhile. Evwrything is connected to the right connectors and even tried to clear CMOS and shifting on the ram sticks.. But the pc wont start at all... Any auggestions?

Hello guys and good morning. I was wondering what options there is for a wireless wifi harddrive out there? Right now i have a Western Digital My Passport pro 3TB for something, but I am assuming it is starting to fail on me. So I am a looking for a new one with about 4-5TB storage. The reason I am looking for a wifi one is that I am working on a ship 6 months a year and the only thing I am brining with me is a Samsung Tablet. So any suggeations out there ? Cheers

I am looking to upgrade my setup this year on black friday,week,month. I am not looking to spend a ton of money a new setup, but i am getting lag spikes on aoe 4 with my current setup which is annoying as hell.... I am looking to upgrade the motherboard and cpu since i have a cooler that fits am4 and lga1151 sockets already and same with ram. Havr been looking alot on the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, would whis be a good upgrade for my current setup? Havent used amd since 2006-7 but according to reviews it is good now. Bang for buck. That cpu is a couple of years old, but as i said i am on a budget right now..

I was thinking around 5000nok, i already have RAM which is 16gb not 12 sorry. The AIO Cooler i have not sure if i have the brackets for AM4 socket and not the newest intel line up anyway. Was looking a bit at the AMD 7 5800X, is this something to aim for ? right now this is at 3000NOK, maybe a bit cheaper since it is Black november month now.. Was thinkng of using a Noctua Air cooler if i dont have brackets for the AIO i have now..

Thanks for the answer, no i am not getting a 7-14 fps drop. The FPS is at 7-14 FPS Think they are running 1080 cards, funny i did not have this problem before... Started like a month or two ago. So the only solution to fix my problem is to buy a new CPU, Mobo and ram.. Yay.....

Hello guys. I have an issue going on, whenver i am playing AoE4 now I get this massive FPS drop on my computer. we are talking like 7-14FPS. I have turned all my graphic settings down a notch, but it dosent seem to help at all, i also have all the latest drivers installed. When i open task mananger i can see that my CPU is running on 100% while playing, and GPU is at 30 something... But the funny thing is that several of my friends have the same CPU, but they dont have this problem while playing... My specs should not really be an issue. GPU : RTX 3080 CPU : i7 7700k RAM : 12 GB I first tried capping the FPS to 120 down from 144, and then down to 75- But no chance.... Anyone having the same problem ? Thanks

Hello guys. As the titles suggest, I am lost in thr surround reciever jungle... I am now looking to bring my Klipsch RF-82mk2 speakers from the basement up to the living room. As per now I only have a NAD335 stereo reciever, but i am looking for a surround reciever for connecting apple tv etc too. But i am a bit lost, because there is so many and I dont want to break the bank but find a nice budget one. Have also looked at the used market. The main problem i have is depth issue, it cant be to deep because then it wont fit in the furniture The 2 I have found now is the Sony str-dh790 at 4000NOK And Denon AVC-S660H at 5900NOK I am currently using the floor speakers, but will add 2 bookshelf in thr back at a later point. Can someone help me out here? Thanks!

Hello good people of the internet. The time had come for changing out my Samsung Galaxy S10, the phone has served me good with xx times falling out of my pockets into the woode deck or steel deck and still working. But now the battery life is terrible and screen is acting funny... This time i wont be using money on high end phones, but something more affordable. I really only have one demand and that is 5G. Good camera, 3.5mm and waterproof is nice to have also I have been looking at two phones mainly. Nr 1 is Sony Xperia 5 II refurbished, i can get this for 5500nok and then it comes with 2 years warranty, new screen and new battery. Nr2 is Oneplus Nord2, this is u can get for about 4900NOK u will get 5g for that, but not waterproof, no expand slot and no 3.5mm.. Was also looking at the Xperia 10 III, but it seems like this is not that good for that money, and if i add 1000nok more or something i can get a almost new Xperia 5 II.. So does anyone have any suggestions?
