  1. Thanks I'll look into it
  2. So for the last few years I've just been renting a room and using a laptop on a lapdesk in my room while working a lot saving up for a down payment on my own place, I'm finally in the process of buying my own place so I'll have room to setup a desk and will have room for a monitor(s). I'm looking at something 27-32in 1440p $500-600 CAD range.
  3. I use the rpcs3 on my laptop i7-10750H, rtx 2070, 16gb ram and it runs pretty much flawless.
  4. have you tried https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/118903
  5. I'm running it on a laptop with a intel i7-10750H, Nvidia 2070, 16gb ram samsung 970 nvme ssd and haven't been having any crashing really (the occastional one when I alt-tab), other then that I haven't have many issues. The game d/c from time to time which you can usually reconnect.
  6. I've played a lot of Hyperdimension Neptunia games and love them. As for @Jerakl's friend not running at 1080p on his laptop that's a problem with his side, they all ran flawlessly on my laptop, they are ported games from vita so they aren't that hard to run.
  7. I don't know much about tablets but i recently picked up a Fire HD 10 (2021) from amazon for $200 CAD, Immediately modified it with Fire Toolbox removing all the safe to remove amazon bloat, disabling lockscreen ads, installing the google services to run Google Play Store, gmail ect ect. then finally changing to a different android launcher for a more standard android experience and disabling the garbage amazon one. all took probably less then 30 mins and its been a pretty good experience for me so far. Battery Life stated is 12hrs but that will vary with different types of usage, its seems to be fairly decent better then my phone that's fore sure. Has SD card expansion, headphone jack. and optional BT keyboard case. Honestly for what I use it for it doesn't seem any slower then my phone, if anything its better with a nice big screen that very clear.
  8. So I just bought a new bike today! Can't wait to get it registered and insured. I Haven't had a bike since I sold my dirt bike 5 years ago. Have a 30 min commute to work figured I might as well enjoy it in the spring/summer/fall
  9. it clones the entire HDD, if you don't want everything from the hdd on the ssd temporarily move them else where before you clone the drive.
  10. Samsung has software for cloning your HDD to you SSD: Samsung Data Migration Software for Consumer SSD
  11. There should be a procedure to factory reset the PS3. Google that and give it a try.
  12. Is your in game ping lower on a direct cable connection to your modem or router? Chances are its just the distance to the server. Speed test websites just test to the closest server to you so of course your ping will be low, the server of the game your playing could be on the other side of the country or in another country entirely. Some people have luck with a gaming VPN like Exitlag that gives a more direct route to the game server, but they don't work for everyone.
  13. Nice, I bought this game for my switch when it came out and had a nice bit of fun with it.
  14. My sister bought it for me for my Birthday and I'm currently preloading it on steam, looking forward to playing this game. Cyberpunk stuff is my jam (Ghost in The Shell anyone?) hopefully the day one patch fixes a lot of the bugs if not ill play through it once and then put it away for the other 2 factions play throughs when it gets more cleaned up.
  15. Kinda waste of money to water cool such a low end gpu. likely why you can't find any water blocks for it.
  16. not sure what the performance difference is between the integrated graphics on the 7th gen vs the 10th gen is but with 16gb of ram total i was able to run the game at max settings without any issues. Not sure what the frame rate was but it didn't feel aweful.
  17. So far with the free characters from the story and the currency given for free i haven't had any issues completing content so its likely the 5 star character aren't needed just make things easier. so its not so bad not getting them easy, so far I've bought the Blessing of the Welkin Moon it gives you 300 currency right away and then another 2700 of 30 days for $6.99 CAD if you compare that to straight buying 3000 currency its $63 CAD cheaper. Pretty worth it imo.
  18. I've down about 50 pulls so far and got 1 5 star character Diluc and probably about 10 4 star characters/items. One of my friends got a 5 star character (Diluc) on his very first wish. the rest of us were all like . the play store just downloaded the installer, after that it downloads from the server.
  19. i just finished downloading it on my phone and it was still between 300kbps and 1mbps. might just be distance to server or your internet is way better then mine (which caps out at like 3.2mpbs )
  20. Hey everyone Genshin Impact recently Released for PC/PS4/Mobile and its a pretty good game, its got some Breath of the Wild Vibes clearly took some inspiration from it (glider, climbing, stamina bar, cell shader graphics). It's pretty shocking how high quality of a game this is for a free to play game. Some quick pros and cons: Pros: 1. Free to Play so doesn't hurt to try it out. 2. Nice Cell shade anime graphics. 3. Runs smooth haven't run into any glitches, bugs, or crashes yet (knocks on wood). 4. Very nice sound track, the game has a lot of Asian styling and the music also follows this (game is made by a chinese developer). 5. Interesting combat system, rather then just playing one character you create a team of 4 and you can switch them with the press of a button at any time. This plays into the elemental combo system where you prime the enemy with an ability and then detonate it with another characters ability (water + ice = frozen solid enemy). 6. Large open world will remind you of Breath of the Wild. 7. Cross Platform Play, you can play with people from PC/PS4/Mobile (need to hit adventurer rank 16 before you can play co-op) and your account is playable on any of them without any extra work, just login with your email and password and your good to go (edit except for Playstation sony wont allow account linking to share progress between PS4 and PC/Mobile). 8. Multiple Language choices. Cons: 1. Uses Gatcha monetization model (lootbox, random content), though the currency is earnable in game and given to you at a pretty fast rate will likely slow down once you have most of the achievements done. They call them wishes in this game and they reward weapons and characters. The are ranks 1-5 Stars seems like the lowest Star rated item you can get from them is 3 and seems like all characters are 4 or 5 star. 5 stars are very rare as you would expect. As you progress through the story some characters are given to you for free and equipment is dropped from chests and (mini) boss fights. 2. Current download speed for the game is garbage went like 300kbps to 1.1mbps, luckly the game doesn't take up a lot of space was only like 10gb + or - a bit of PC, like 5.8 gb on mobile. Edit: @Skiiwee29 said that he read on discord that running the launcher as an admin may increase the download speed to max. 3. Potential for false positive bans, they don't allow VPN connections so if you use a ping reducing tunneling service like exit lag or similar program its possible it will flag you as using a vpn and ban you. That's about all that i can think of for negatives the game is pretty solid, check it out! Minimum System requirements: Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64bit versions only) CPU: Intel Core i5 or equivalent RAM: 8 GB Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 1030 and higher DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 30 GB of available space Recommended System requirements: Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64bit versions only) CPU: Intel Core i7 (equivalent) or higher RAM: 16 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB and higher DirectX: Version 11 Storage: 30 GB of available space Note* it says 30gb required but my game is only taking up 13.8gb currently.
  21. I had a Pentium 2 266mhz at the time when the game first came out.
  22. I had a lot of issues with this game with 8gb of ram, as soon as i upgraded to 16gb it fixed it. other then that you should probably be able to run the game maxed. Geforce experience might have as preset for optimal settings for this game.
  23. My sister used to travel a lot with her job and was in the same boat as you. She just started using her phone a as a mobile hotspot which gaming didn't use up a whole lot of data as long as you didn't have to download updates.
