  1. Yeah, i've actually found some cheap Optiplux's online that are in my price range but i haven't found one that i specifically want yet. I have looked at Pi clones myself already, one of them actually being Beaglebone. The other i looked at is the Libre Computer Le Potato, but idk about that one. Seems like it's not really supported anymore.
  2. Yeah, alright. I get it! I'll look for Optiplux's and other similar PC's then instead.
  3. Unfortunately, i have zero knowledge in programming so... that's not my main reason of getting a Pi. With ''play'' around i pretty much mean watching Youtube, etc and extremely basic stuff if it can even handle that. lol
  4. Yeah, uhm... everything is pretty much sold out in my area/country. And sadly, not many physical stores have Raspberry Pi's in my country. It's mostly online, which are also out of stock. lol I guess i'll look for something similar then or whatever.
  5. Ohh, alright! Yeah, well i'm not really replacing it with anything and i probably won't use it on a daily basis. I just want a Pi because i want something more to ''play'' around with.
  6. Hi! So... i recently got quite interested in buying a Raspberry Pi (for just regular at-home use, like an alternative to a laptop and possibly some extremely light gaming). I literally have 0 knowledge about anything Rasperry Pi related, so i'm asking here for the best cheapest starter kit. I don't really have a budget, but maybe like $60+ or $80+ but not over $100. I know i'd probably have to spend atleast $100 to actually get a decent working kit but... i'm getting a Raspberry Pi just for fun, so i don't really feel like spending over $100 or even $100 at all to be honest.
  7. Oohhhh, alright. Thanks for the explanations and clarifications! That's actually really interesting, now that i know more on how it works. Thanks, once again!
  8. I have absolutely no clue what that RAID 0 means lol, a quick google search made me understand a tiny bit more though. Anyways, i guess everything should be completely fine then? And i shouldn't have to worry about anything?
  9. Hmm, alright then i guess i've most likely misunderstood something. I guess the ''SATA 6gb/s'' is something completely different then and not the transfer speed? Yeah, uhm i clearly have absolutely no idea what any of this is or means. Thank you, though!
  10. Hello! Hopefully this isn't TOO confusing and i probably should've asked this here, before ordering the LogiLink UA0284 harddrive enclosure thing. I want to put a harddrive from my old PC into my new PC and to simplify things i thought of getting one of those enclosures that turns an internal harddrive into an external one. The enclosure i ordered only allows up to 5gb transfer speed (with usb 3.0) and my harddrive has 6gb transfer speed, does this matter in any way that the enclosure is only 1gb slower than the actual harddrive? I'm guessing the harddrive should still work fine but like, will there be any noticable difference when transfering to/from it or when installing games to it? I ordered the LogiLink UA0284 for my Western Digital WD10EZEX, to be a little more specific.
  11. Hi, so I've started to get pretty annoyed at my current Logitech G603 mouse, not that it's bad or anything at all. I've just come to the realization that it's too small for my hands. I also tend to hold my mouse in quite a retarded way, like my hand is at a 60 degree angle on the mouse which has started to annoy me aswell. I'm also pretty tired of my mouse being wireless, so no more wireless. Anyways, i saw the Cooler Master MM720 that looks wide enough but more ''chunky'' than my G603. So... any recommendations? My budget is around 30-60$-ish or €, since i'm in EU.
  12. Really? I signed up in 2016 and haven't gotten any coupons. I checked my email that i signed up with, etc and saw nothing. Yeah i've had the Philips Fidelio X2's and they sounded great for being openback and i got surprised by how much better my DT770 Pro's sounded when i switched to them. Anyways thanks for the recommendation of those Meze 99 Noirs. I'll see in the coming days which headphones i'll buy. So many to choose from now!
  13. Ohh ok... Well that's fine. Yeah i was honestly quite confused as to what you meant.
  14. Yeah ok. That's pretty impressive then! I'll see which ones i buy... Didn't expect so many recommendations. lol
  15. Ohh wow ok! I'll see if i can stretch my budget a tiny bit more... I don't really feel like paying $200 for just a pre-order though. I have zero patience so i want headphones asap.
