  1. Its been tested over and over and like everyone says loop order won't change any temps at all.
  2. The problems i see with caselabs is only one case now has a tempered glass option,The rest are acrylic windows. And they have zero dust filters. And the customization is cool but some of the options rack up the price fast.I can get a lian li case for less with tempered glass and dust filters and still have a stand out not cookie cutter case to me.
  3. Hes in aus and things probably cost more there then in the us.
  4. Ryzen 1700 and a x370 motherboard you like.
  5. If you can swing the cash go threadripper
  6. You can get a 3.5 to 5.25 bay adapter for like 10 dollars,It will let you mount a hard drive in those ODD slots your probably not going to use.
  7. I'm on another forum and found that in the core x owners club a while back.
  8. If you do want the core x9 you can get tempered glass sides for it http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00003114 Only bad thing i can say about the core x9 is cable management could be tricky/hard since its so open.If you got money to burn https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133367&cm_re=thermaltake_view_91-_-11-133-367-_-Product https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112573 https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139019 Or if you want something different https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133327
  9. The x9 is a super tower its damn huge,The r6 case might even fit inside it sideways lol.Since you want a nas how many hard drives will you be using tho ?
  10. His links work for me,And bitspower makes one for the apex https://www.bitspower.com.tw/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=173_254_257_339&products_id=5734
  11. But us amd fans are out of luck.I have yet to find any amd gpu manufacturer that sells straight to the public.
  12. Pc part picker only scans by ram speed the board will take. The ram compatibility chart will show you the part number of the kits they have tested and shown to fully work good.
  13. And whatever motherboard you use look up the ram compatibility chart for that board and buy ram from that list helps cut down ram problems.
  14. There is always going to be budget motherboards for any socket and chipset even in 5 years from now.I would build the best you can today and get some years out of it.When it starts to get old and slow save up again and build another pc fresh.
  15. I would change the ram to 2 quad channel kits vs all those dual channel kits. The odds are 2 dual kits to work as a quad channel is 50/50.With a quad channel kit its been tested all 4 ram sticks work together and happy.Like said i9 vs threadripper the threadripper wins but for clock speed besides that id take the threadripper over the i9.
  16. Like said a old psu can go bad and maybe short out your whole pc.And being that had it might not even have enough power on the 12 volt rail to feed that 1080ti.And what that video card cost a psu is cheap next to it.
  17. If you want bitspower https://www.bitspower.com.tw/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=173_254_257_339&products_id=5818
  18. I had them in blue and uv years ago with every cable i could find uv blue.
  19. A case i forgot about http://www.lian-li.com/en/dt-portfolio/pc-o12/#/ms-8/3
  20. Well only case i can think of is the lian li pc 011 with its vertical gpu bracket thats 80 bucks plus 2 pci riser cables.Open case the thermaltake core p3/p5 and p7 have a option you can mount the whole pci bracket vertically.Or you can get a case with a single vertical gpu mount like a define r6 then add in a coolermaster or cable mod vertical gpu mount that replaces the whole pci slots.
