  1. Destilled water and a kill coil is cheap if you use copper blocks,If nickel blocks any brand coolant would be better.
  2. Just piece it together.Last time i did it on eks site was around 800 bucks.
  3. I would look at another case,That one looks like it has zero airflow for the front fans.
  4. Either find a bigger case or shorter cooler.
  5. The best and only smart idea is to buy one psu that has enough power for your needs.
  6. The tower 900 is a monster,The core x9/level 20 xt can hold 3 480 rads if i remember right. The lian li pc-v3000 can hold 3 420s i think. The corsair 900d can hold a lot of rads.If you got money to burn the corsair 1000d is a beast so is the view 91.
  7. Look at a define r6 to me its basic looking but offers everything from a odd drive to tempered glass.
  8. For a threadripper with one gpu you need dual 360 rads in the real world,A big case is not needed you can get a mid tower to fit dual 360s or 3 360s if you go lian li 011.As far as running 2 pumps not unless you want dual loops which are just for show.A single d5 pump will handle more then you need it for.
  9. I looked ek and bitspower both don't make one,And honestly unless its a high end board that can really over clock most won't make one for it.A cpu block and airflow on the vrm should be fine for most users and i have heard people say most monoblocks are for looks really.A few have switched from a cpu block to a monoblock and ran the same temps.
  10. The last intel i owned was a 478 socket single core,And you are right most games amd is really maybe 10 to 15 fps slower but over 100fps it really don't matter.Same goes for video cards i have stuck with ati/amd over the years.Back on topic the board should be fine but i would think hard and look at x470 chipset if its in your budget.
  11. Rad size just depends on how much cooling you need and case size,You can run 3 240 rads in a case or 2 360 rads if all are the same thickness they will cool the same. There is a point where you can have too much rad for the cooling you need.Besides the threadripper what else do you want to cool?Any video cards if so which ones and how many?
  12. I have gamed on amd cpus for years,Right now the 2700x is neck and neck with a 8700k
  13. A very think 240 rad in top depending motherboard and ram clearance. If you haven't bought the case yet the 500d is taller you can run a 360 rad in the roof. With fans its not cheap,Or the view 71 if you want a big glass case like that 570x but bigger.
  14. At 1080p the load is pushed more cpu then gpu.
  15. https://www.thermaltake.com/chassis.aspx https://cougargaming.com/us/products/cases/conquer/ http://www.raidmax.com/chassis_x08.html https://estore.in-win.com/us/en/product/gaming-chassis/all/list?sort=&price[0]=4&price[1]=5&page=1
  16. The short answer is you'll spend more trying then replacing both will cost. The long answer the rad is thin and aluminum and a copper rad same size will cool better. The fittings aio use are a funny size and you'd spend a lot in adapters to even use it.The waterblock is really a waterblock and pump and really not the best thing made both custom loop will out cool them.Your not the first to ask this or the last its never a good idea to try.
  17. A top 360 in that case is super hard to do,And depending rad thickness motherboard and ram clearance in that case is tight also.
  18. I forgot to add the Poseidon card kinda sucks on air and water,I would buy a reference card and put whatever brand water block on it you want.It will look better and cool a lot better.
  19. I have built a few pcs and never have used one ever,I always touch something metal first or plugged up the psu not even turned on and just touch the case.Jayztwocents tested this a while back they couldn't hurt a pc by static shock but hurt a camera display with it
  20. I would trust Jonnyguru hes blown up more psu testing them then anyone else.
  21. I would think hard about running a monoblock if you plan to overclock,That case in the front only has 2 fans not much airflow really.
  22. The b450 chipset just hit the market in the last week or two is probably why that site don't have them listed yet.I wouldn't buy nothing biostar they are low end crappy oem grade motherboards.
  23. That rad in the left side would have to be mounted in the most forward way it won't fit in the back side of the opening its to thick and probably to wide. Now you could mount the fans on the back pushing in.And you will have to vertically mount that video card with a waterblock on it.The rad with the ports down i have heard its bad and its not and many do it so i doubt it would matter if you bleed the system fully of air.The fans should be on many use them and corsair uses them on their aio which are not a lot thinner then that rad is.
  24. The reason ek said to run 2 rads is that your whole loop a heat ratting in watts,Each rad has a max watts of heat it can cool so you need two rads to cool it.If you had room in your case for a thick rad like 80mm with push pull you can run one rad.The single vs dual loops is pretty much dual is for show and looks and would cool the same in a single loop.Like said with the coolant/water moving at its speed it does take a while to come up to temp and equal out.Its been proven cpu to gpu on the same loop is with in 5 degrees of each other max.
