  1. oh i know this channel! I followed his guide on the synthetic timer. Also yeah I just disabled cortana and telemetry and other unless onedrive stuff. Guess i will look into it more
  2. I already ran the win 10 debloater tool, what would you recommend to debloat it even more?
  3. Sorry its my first time using the program, let me know if you need anything else @DarkSmith2, Also your numbers are so much lower than mine how did you achieve that?
  4. Sorry I have explained it wrong, theres no HPET in bios on my board I just disabled it in windows. and here is the latencymon results, does it look okay?
  5. I tried multiple windows versions, 1709, 1807 and 2004 and the problems still there. I do have ISLC and did the tweaks and fixes with the HPET and synthetic timers. I also used TCPOptimizer to make sure my packets are not being split. At first I thought oh my rams not enough to I upgraded to a 32GB kit running at 4000mhz andTo ensure the refresh rate bugs i bought two 240hz monitor to make sure they are running fine together, at this point im just pulling my hair out because I tried everything.
  6. according to other users I got unlucky with my chip and I forced it to 5ghz with 1.4v for a while so I caused permeant damage to it(?) The thermals were fine at 60c underload but according to them the stutter and stuff came from overvolting. I am no expert in OCing my 9900k I only overclocked a 8700k back then but it didnt take anywhere near 1.4v. He also mentioned that since I have 3 monitors and 2 of them are doing other things like discord and have chrome open my 9900k cant handle all those applications at once and an AMD would be a much better choice
  7. out of curiosity is the 10980xe even worth getting? at the end of the day my objective is just achieving the highest FPS possible
  8. I have been an Intel kinda guy since I can ever remember, from 4790k to 8700k to a 9900k. However, with this current build with the 9900k I have been having a lots of issues with stuttering. My friend suggest me to give AMD a try as I like to do a lot of things on my other monitors while I game. I was going to do a 10900k 3090 build but if I was to go with AMD what would be the equivalent or better? Thanks everyone.
  9. let me try that again, wish me luck! Also yes I did change the memory multiplier to 3600 after enabling XMP
  10. The model number is HX440C19PB3AK2/16, let me know if you need more info
  11. Thanks for your detailed reply! So in short I got unlucky and got a crappy 9900k. To be honest it should have been a red flag when the guy at Canada Computers asked me if I wanted to buy an openbox 9900k for 10% off.
  12. it seems i cant really get anything to run above 3200. Sorry I am still fairly new to this so correct me if im wrong, I specifically chose this motherboard because it supports up to 4133mhz and this is a 9900k mobo. So my question is why would they say it can run at that speed if the CPU cant handle it?
  13. I have a 9900k with an Aorus Masters mobo with 4 sticks of hyperX predator and whenever I try anything like manually setting the timing etc, my computer just wont boot. and XMP 1 only sets the speed to 3200. Any help would be appreciated as I already resetted BIOS like 5 times already.
  14. Thank goodness, 11GB. I had a heart attack for a bit back there
  15. Was doing some ingame settings and realized it said my card is a RTX 2080TI 3072mb? Surely I have more than 3GB of memory or am I missing something here?
  16. thanks for the reply, however I dont usually download anything. Also the risks associated with hacks are too great so I will never touch them. The thing thats bothering me to most is the fact this is from Nvidia? So I am not quite sure how to feel about this, is Nvidia auto downloading malware?
  17. This just popped up while I was on the internet. What is Nvidia doing, I thought its just a driver.
  18. I am using Rogers (a Canadian ISP) and I am on the up to 1gbps down and up to 30mbps up plan. I had a technician over today to check on frequent disconnects and packet loss. He replaced almost all the coax heads around the house and outside and the speeds good, once he left the speed dropped down to around 300 down and 9 up, but after an hour it went back up to around 800 down and 20 up. Could this be because I am sharing the node with other Rogers user in the area? I have had 6 techs over and they all just plug their work laptop into my modem and say the speed is fine and they leave. How do I explain it to them that the problem is much deeper? Besides the frequent internet disconnects and packet loss, are there other things that I should mention or test that I should have them preform? Thanks in advance
  19. the jitter has now been eliminated by one simple step , i enabled scanline sync with the same value as my fps cap. Who would have known ;o
  20. No you are right, I definitely should keep my eyes on my per core usage. It just seems taht Rainbow 6 really likes to use 90% of my CPU while playing at 1080p lowest settings
