    Guys, i need some opinions on a build im getting my cousin. His budget is around RM2500 so around 600USD, Im from Malaysia. I found this rig with a used GTX 1060 but should i opt for a better processor instead? He mainly use AutoCAD and doing lots of documentation(Words, PDF, Excel) AMD RYZEN 5 26008GB DDR4 2400MHZASUS PRIME A320M-KAPACER 120GB SSDTHERMALTAKE 450W PSUTECWARE NEXUS -M CASEZOTAC GTX 1060 6GB - USED Definitely adding another 1TB of HDD.

    So to sum things out, Ryzen 7 1700 Asus Strix X370 G.Skill Trident 3200 16gb and for now paired with my current Seasonic S12II 620W and Asus GTX 770 DIrect CU II OC. Should be fine right?

    Asus Prime X370 Pro and Gigabyte Gaming K5 isnt available here i guess? I search both online shop here(lelong and lazada[have but overprice and come from overseas as well]) n the pricelist from a few shop from a famous digital mall. https://www.lowyat.net/jayacom-hardware-pricelist/ go to price list and hardware, there is a few shop here. The cheaper X370 i can get are MSI: SLI Plus Krait Gaming Asrock: Killer SLI Gaming K4 If i spend a little more: Asus Strix X370-F Gaming Gigabyte AX370 Gaming 5 Asrock X370 Taichi. I dont think i can spend anymore than this. ?

    Is the msi b350 mortar enough to overclock it to 4.0GHz? And ram to 3200? or is there a better mobo within my budget?

    So betw So between r7 and i7 which offer a better performance in rendering because thats the main purpose for me to be upgrading. I’m confused between these two with r7 having more core and thread and a larger cache yet reviews show that i7 8700 perform faster with windows experience because of its ipc performance and higher clock speed?

    So a ryzen is definitely a better choice over coffee lake 8700? Will the ram works without issues with the boards? I heard that the amd chipset is kinda picky with rams.

    Im from Malaysia and my budget is around 2-3k Malaysian Ringgit, so about 700 usd.

    Im planning to upgrade my rig since the mobo died(from a lightning). And now i do a lot of editing(premier pro and lightroom). So planning to upgrade it for better productivity. my current rig is: Intel Xeon E3-1230V3 Kingston 8gb (value stick) Asrock Fatal1ty H87 Performance Seasonic S12II 620W Silver Stone AR02 Asus GTX770 Direct CU II OC And im planning to upgrade the cpu(mobo and ram included) first and reuse the other parts(GPU, PSU, casing, ssd and hdd). Should i get Ryzen 7 1700 or i7 8700? and which mobo n ram should be the best. From Malaysia with a budget around 700USD more or less.
