  1. To be honest i didnt as of yet. I thought that with the USB image i could troubleshoot the system or even format it and start again but for some strange reason it wont let me boot from USB. In BIOS i see the the option of UEFI Boot but when i boot from it it stops in middle of the operation giving me BSOD again. Also i forgot to mention i had no overclock whatsoever neither on RAM or CPU. Everything was stock. I didnt updated BIOS to latest ones cause as far as i know if the pc works fine it's not necessary to take the risk.
  2. So last night i left my computer on and i fell asleep while watching a stream. After hours I got up hearing a strange noise from my speakers and i saw a blue screen of death specifically WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. I forced the pc to restart cause it was just janging at 100% of the BSOD. I tried to troubleshoot (with no luck) and i followed the steps bellow. 1.Forced Restart and Boot to Windows 2.BSOD again SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 3.System Restarted and tried to Boot again 4.BSOD again same as step 2. 5.Powered off the system, removed the PSU cable and perfomed cold boot 6.System was able to boot succesfully to Windows Sign In Screen 7.Put my PIN and BSOD again KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT _HANDLED refering to a single file Intelini.sys 8.I reset the system and perfomed a MEMOK with the onboard ASUS button which was successfull and generally no wierd codes on Qcode even during boot. 9.Automatic repair poped and I perfomed an automatic troubleshoot which didnt even finish cause i got again the same BSOD as step 2. 10.Reset and I set Load Default Settings on BIOS and tried to Boot. 11.Again succesfull POST with A0 on Qcode and BSOD SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 12.Powered off the system removed all my RAM and put another kit 13.Tried to boot and got me same as 2. and 11. 14.I created an image of windows in USB using Media Creation Tool on my second computer. Removed all cables, clear CMOS with the ASUS onboard button while pc was powered off and tried to boot from the USB both simple mode and UEFI mode. 15.My mobo reads the USB but everytime it tries to boot from it stops on windows loading screen ans gets me BSOD IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Thats all the steps i took so far. I'm afraid of turning on the pc again. As of hardware everything seems to be working fine no POST errors no Qcode errors no LED errors. As of software something must have gone crazy wrong. Thing is why it gives me BSOD when i try to boot from USB image. Is something wrong with BIOS? (corrupted by windows???). I can get to BIOS easely everytime but why Windows wont let me boot from USB image. What is going on? 3. I will probably stick to the External NVMe SSD Drive Bay solution and read the 960 Pro on my secondary system as an external drive via USB. For the backup thing though yeah i should probably use a backup from now on. I have a spare 950 Pro 250Gb so i could use it with the external NVMe SSD bay as a backup after i'm done with the whole process. So win-win ?.
  4. Few weeks back my i7-6850k died a horrible death after two years of usage. I used this system as my main for 3D Modeling and Artwork so i have lots of files that i need to salvage from my 960 Pro NVMe before i use it on the new main system that i'm building. My old OS is still installed in the 960 Pro NVMe so there is no way i boot the new system with the old OS and all the incompatible drivers. We all know that this will be a disaster. If i want to use my 960 Pro again i should either boot it in the old dead system and save my files(which is impossible) or just format it and boot it in the new system(lose all my files) . So i was wondering how can i save files from this drive??? Any Suggestions?? One of the options i have in mind: Use a SATA to M.2 converter with a SATA to USB adapter cable in order to connect the drive to my secondary system via USB and read it as an external drive. I'm not sure if this will work cause still i would have to read a drive that has Windows 10 istalled to it. Will this lead to some big problems(i don't know maybe the system would crash)??? I've never checked if this works but i could save all my files from the 960 Pro that way and then install it in the new system, format it and use it again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  5. I'm currently using the PC at stock clocks. I loaded lots of different overclock profiles but none of them works. I dont think that my parts are dying, at least not yet but surely there is something that prevents the system from overclocking. Could a 1000Watt PSU not handle the overclock of one 6850K?
  6. Hey guys I'm new on the forums so bear with me if I post this thread in the wrong one. The problem I am facing is related to Overclock thats why I thought it would be best to post it here. Anyways I use ASUS RAMPAGE V Edition 10 with an Intel-core 6850k at 4.4GHz and yesterday while I was doing my daily gaming session suddendly the system shut down. I tried to restart it but it couldnt even pass through the POST. I tried to see the Qcode on the mobo and I noticed that the system was shutting down right after the overclock with the Qled at red (which means CPU). I also attempeted a complete reset, unpluging the PSU but still the same. Having no luck with the restarts I used the SAFE BOOT button the mobo has in order to get to BIOS cause there was no other way. Inside BIOS I loaded the default settings and I reseted the PC. The system passed through POST and booted the OS as if it was working perfectly. Though when I went inside BIOS the second time I applied my overclock settings, saved and reseted the system couldnt be able to reset itself. It would just save and shut down . Something is preventing the system from reseting when I apply changes inside the extreme tweaker but i dont know what. I cannot even overclock my RAM although it can pass the MEMOK test . Any suggestions or solutions would be very much appreciated.Thank you
