  1. So. I have some experience with Hewlett Packard's small form factor and ultraslim cases. The hp compaq 8300 USDT, specifically, intrigues me with space efficiency. The power supply is external though, and isn't small whatsoever, but they feature desktop CPUs and laptop GPU's, SO-dimms, 44.8 x 17.8 x 44.5 cm (h-w-d) of a very cute looking case. It's sturdy too, the "skeleton" resisting my attempts at bending it how it shouldn't bend very well, Unlike some Cheaptek™ towers that seem to be made of painted, thin lead covered up with aluminum foil. I think they're great. The motherboard is probably limited to only a few CPU's and doesn't have the cool kid features, but it's going to be cheaper than a decent laptop by far, and is far more flexible than a laptop. Wondering if there's any custom solutions, to this size of pc. Heck, if the case has to be stretched to fit a titan xp, i wouldn't mind. Has Senpai Linus talked about this? Space in a rented environment is always an issue, especially desk space, Feet space. Hand space. There-could-be-a-shelf-here-space. "But i don't like this laptop's keyboard" logical fallacy. Anyway. How to make a strong, independent ultraslim desktop? Does cramming more stuff in a small space look neat? It can obviously run Doom. Mods to screw a screen and a big fat battery to it? The new installment, HP EliteDesk 800 G3 doesn't seem to have room for a gpu, at 17cm wide and deep, takes less room than a on the actual desk, or drawer(which is where some people store their laptops until they need them)
