  1. I have UpHere fans, they are powered by a SATA power cable. Here are my specs: -Ryzen 5 1500X -MSI X370 Gaming plus -2 GTX 970's SLI (MSI) -FSP GROUP 650W power supply -4TB Barracuda and an SSD Since my fans are not connected to my motherboard (cheap fans...) I can't modify the fan curve but I haven't had this problem before although that is a very good idea
  2. Hello! I've recently noticed a problem with my PC. When I unplug the PC and leave it for awhile, when I plug it back in the fan RGB flickers for about 5 seconds before the PC boots, it didn't do this not long ago... I noticed other strange things like a disk repair popup when booting, to clarify: We have had a lot stormy weather so I have been switching the power supply off after each time I use my PC to prevent damage, could this have caused a problem with the fans or drive? Or mabe I didn't wait long enough before switching off the PC and It caused a problem? My PC works just fine if shut down, as long as it doesn't get unplugged. Thank you in advance for any help or advice! Here is a short video of the problem: 20210812_204702_Trim.mp4
  3. Hello, I have had trouble installing Windows 10 to my PC for the past two weeks (ish). I only just found the solution today and wanted to share it in case anyone else was in the same situation. When trying to boot from a USB stick to install Windows, the screen would bug or the Windows logo would flash on the screen and disappear before boot-looping. Turns out (for me) the solution was to update my BIOS to the newest available version. NOTE: For MSI board I'd recommend M-Flash because Live Update 6 is known to be risky, and can ruin your board at worst. However faulty RAM, drivers, or even SLI could be causing the problem for you. Some older motherboards don't support booting from a USB 3.0 stick. Also try creating a bootable USB drive using Rufus and the newest version of Windows in ISO form. So hopefully some find this useful, I definetly pulled my hair out for quite awhile trying to find and fix the problem. William
  4. I managed to get to version 1909! Yay But however my PC won't go to version 2004, it gives me this image: Does anyone know what it means?
  5. I'm just trying to upgrade to 1909 using the tool, hopefully it works! I can't to a clean install of anything because of this problem...
  6. Hello! Sorry didn't see your post, yes my SSD has ver. 1903 on it already.
  7. The default settings don't work it seems.
  8. It seems like it may be a problem with the whole using a USB stick to update, I am going to reboot and try using default settings. I didn't wipe that version, I am trying to install to a NTFS 240Gb with no windows on it.
  9. Hello everyone! I've had an annoying problem for the past week, I've been trying to install Windows 10 21H1 to my PC after discovering I was running a really old version (1903). I created an installation media via Microsoft's website, I even tried Rufus with an ISO, but no luck. I just get the Windows logo on the screen for about 10 seconds before my system reboots. I tried both the USB and SSD on a different PC and they work fine, I suspect it is either BIOS settings, drivers or an old BIOS version causing this problem. My specs are: MSI X370 Gaming Plus (BIOS ver. E7BS0IMS.150 / Build date: 22/03/2019) Ryzen 5 1500X 16Gb DRR4 Crucial RAM 2 Drevo SSD's and a Seagate Barracuda HHD Please help, any suggestions would be welcome.
  10. Hello there! I've recently wanted to sell my two 970's and buy a single RTX 3060 once they are back in stock (If ever...) I've been nervous selling both GPU's because I was worried I'd sit for months with nothing in my PC, so I figured I'd only sell one. So I unplugged one of the two cards and set it aside, I booted everything up with the other one in the PC. I went to go load up Nvidia control pannel but it had dissapeared, and GeForce experience would not let me go to the games or profile tabs. I loaded up GTA V and noticed it thought I still had 2 GPU's installed (showed 8Gb of VRAM when there is only 4Gb per card) I was wondering if this was a driver issue and how to fix it. I reinstalled the other GPU and all is back to normal. Thank you in advance for any advice and whatnot.
  11. Hello! I had a quick question. I am trying to sell my 3 year old MSI GeForce GTX 970 Afterburners and I was wondering how much they are worth. As I said they are three years old and have seen moderate ish usage for 2 years but I stopped gaming for a year due to a lot of school work and exams! I live in France and was wondering if eBay is a good place to sell them and if so at what price for both together. William
  12. Hello, I was planning to leave my pc on for 2 hours as I need to install GTA again (I installed a new graphics card and its messing GTA up) and it's been on for like 2 hours so will I damage it by leaving it on for too long? Keep in mind I have 3 fans on the case, I set it to turn off after 2 hours, I am VERY paranoid as it's really expensive and I've had it for a month.
  13. Hello! Does anyone know a good option for a gaming monitor under 100€ Thanks
