  1. I just made my friend a new pc but it won't install windows from the usb disk drive that we have. On a gigabyte b360 motherboard, we start the boot and it just goes back to the aorus logo and sits there not doing anything please help.
  2. With those specs, most games are avalible to play at medium to high fps at 60 fps
  3. I am helping to part out and build computers for my school and I was thinking getting a ryzen 3 2200g as the processor, however I don't want to have to go through the hassle of ubdating the bios on all of the motherboards to work with the vega graphics. What motherboards are compadible out of the box with the ryzen apu's? Preferably micro atx since they are cheep, and it doesn't have to be high end at all.
  4. So i recently built my own high ish end gaming PC and soon after built one in the same tier for my friend, and helped with a $400 pc. Now my other friends want to look into budget pcs for themselves. The problem is that for a budget pc i want them to get the best hardware for the price so i need some help selecting CPU and GPU for them. Their budgets are flexable at 1000-1200 including monitor, and peripherals (keyboard, mouse, headset). Please help with selecting hardware. I was thinking an i3 8100, r5 2600(x), or i5 8400/8600k if possible. For gpu I was thinking 1050ti, 1060 3gb, or 1060 6gb or their amd equivalents. Thanks!
  5. i dont actually know what happened but i switched back to MSI afterburner from gigabyte extreme and though my thermals are similar, my gpu is staying at 2060ish mhz while in game, making a 5-10 fps difference. though its not a 100% increase (that seems rediculous now) im happy that im seeing a difference though im not sure why it made a difference. the software may have been bugged.
  6. it appears that now its only clocking to 1880 mhz even at 55c. how do i change this? should i change voltage/ am i not understanding OCing?
  7. would overclocking the g1 make that much of a difference?
  8. rainbow 6 seige 1080p maxed settings i get roughly 100-120 fps and he gets 200-240 fps i benchmarked it in game and it stayed the same
  9. i dont have vsync on. though he has a 240hz gsync and mine is a 144hz no frame sync. he is hitting his refresh rate and even at the same resolution i am not.
  10. i synced EVERY setting possible setting in game and he is getting 100 more fps than me. idfk what is going on!
  11. you mean an upgrade not an overclock gives you that big of a difference?
  12. i build his last week. same cpu. i7 8700.
  13. ive monitoring it and i says im getting roughly 2 ghz while in game so im wondering why its not working
  14. so the reason i say this is because my friend did an OC on his gigabyte 1060 g1 and he got 50% more frames in game so im wondering why i cannot achive the same
  15. So I've recently overclocked my gtx 1060 FE with a 200 mhz offset of the core clock and a 600 mhz offset on the memory. Even with this boost i haven't seen a major difference in game. It isn't thermal throttling so I don't know why i am not seeing a performance increase. My basic specs are: i7 8700 16gb ram @ 2400mhz gtx 1060 Fe with the OC i said i play at 2560x1080 pls help thanks
