For outside get some other earphones to use. You don't wanna take the Fidelio or DT990 outside, I mean they are not portable anyway lol
Of all my headphones the X2HR is the biggest.

I doubt you'll be disappointed in the X2HR, it's surprisingly one of the best headphones you can get at such afforable prices.

For pop and rock you want that little extra sprinkle on the treble and bass probably. Not just a flat headphone. There are easier to drive ones out there and harder which benefit a lot from an amp and some don't.

The popular Beyerydynamic DT 990 pros are great for mainly comp and for listening to pop and rock. BUT they are pretty sharp in the frequency response which is something you need to take into consideration. They have a moderatly wide and open soundstage and great imaging for pin pointing stuff. The build is good. They can get pretty flimsy after 1 or 2 years and the comfort gets worse the more you use them. If you are tolerate to treble or have bad ears. They will sound fine. You can always EQ I guess.

I currently use the X2HR from Philips and they are amazing for anything I use them with. Balanced sound, a bit boosted in treble and bass. Very open soundstage. Still pretty forward mids tho. They are easy to drive, very comfortable with the memory foam earpads and the huge headband. Build quality is amazing, I would say they are overbuilt. The cable is removable, it is just a standard 3.5mm cable. You can use a Vmoda boom pro or any other mic/cable combo with it and turn it into a headset. So far the comfort is great after months of use.

There are many sennhesier headphones out there such as the HD 58X or 6XX from drop.com but judging from your music taste and which games you play, I think you'll find them too laid back in treble and bass. Sennheiser's signature is mostly forward mids.

As for a DAC/amp. I will strongly recommend something like a sound blaster G6 or G3 since they can be used both on PC and on console.

These are open back I just recommended which is something I will never stop using because they sound so much better for games and music. Some people may need closed back for monitoring or just listening without being disturbed.

Yeah just realised that, guess I won't take them outside, but from what I have seen online the Fedilio x2hr and the DT990 are both really good but I am leaning more towards the Fedilio since they are easier to drive so I don't need to buy an amp. Still going to look around for a bit at what people have to say about the sennheiser.
Thank you very much, your recommendations were very helpful.

I am building a new system this christmas and like most other people(i presume) i would like to install windows on it. I am looking to buy a cheap product key from a seller on ebay, but the thing is i am worried that is there a possibility that the key could have a root kit or malware or something attach the key that will infect my computer once i finished installing it. I really feel like i am just over thinking it and i shouldn’t be worrying about it but i want to know the answers from you guys. I also know that there are also real problems that can happened like getting a used key, or a stolen key which will deactivate after awhile but i am not too worried about thoses

How you actually seen the cpu working on the seller’s computer because if your older cpu is work than it’s sounds like you bought a broken cpu

if 2 motherboards with updated BIOs that support Devils Canyon and it still can't post, then it sounds like a dead CPU. I would return the CPU or get a refund.

the typical ones use Sata data and Sata power ports, just like any hard drive.
but newer m.2 SSD's use m.2 slots located on the motherboard; though you can use PCI-e extention cards to use them there if your motherboard doesn't have an m.2 slot

Well yeah the stock cooler could oc to 3.6-7 but i would get an aftermarket cooler like the hyper 212 evo. Its alot better for the temperature and gives you a lot more headroom.

Here is a video comparing the temps of the 212 evo and the spire

those are the timings of the RAM, the clocks, in how many cycles it takes for each of them to refresh.
in order: CAS, tRCD, tRP, rRAS and they are an important part in memory larency. there is also the Row Refresh Cycle Time tRFC and the comand rate CR that are important.
L16 is pretty normal for a DDR4 memory kit.

im not sure if there is any DDR4 kit that will do 16 cycles tRAS seeing as that tends to be above 30 even on DDR3 kits, which run slower and have tighter clocks.

It’s probably a psu failure. If you can try and get a different psu and see if it works for your pc. If it doesn’t it’s work than your motherboard could’ve been fried.
