  1. i have tried it in two different pci express slots and both have given me the same results, it powers on on the initial boot fans spin for a bit and warms up
  2. yes the 6+2 pin connector is in the gpu and the 8 pin vga is in the psu, the psu is an evga 750 g3
  3. Okay so I built my first pc and got everything started up, had a little trouble installing windows with the memory, but ultimately got it downloaded and working. I had my Hdmi connected through my motherboard and not through the gpu while installing windows and booting. I go to start windows and have some issues with a black screen when i was connected to the gpu and didnt think too much but now i cant install any drivers for Nvidia unless its connected via hdmi. Every time I plug it in and reboot, i get a longer boot time and no logo or anything, just black screen. Any tips, i havent done any overclocking yet and only have an hdmi cable atm. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3M7fqk
