It's pretty sad to hear that the industry has made that the default for high-end phones, but OK then. What phones with an excellent screen and stereo audio would you recommend, then? Yes, it was turned on by default. But I did tweak it and all other screen settings in all possible ways, all possible configurations, and all possible color balances (in the "Advanced" section of the screen color adjustment menu), but none of the configurations removed the yellowish tint that was present on the screen. I didn't have night mode/bed mode turned on, nor any kind of accessibility screen filter enabled. I remember that when I got my Galaxy S9, its screen had a slightly reddish tint, but I was able to fix this issue by decreasing the amount of red in the screen color configuration menu, and the screen was perfect afterward, but unfortunately, although the Galaxy M34 also have this same option, it didn't do anything relevant when it comes to reducing the amount of yellow on the screen, it was like the color configuration didn't do anything at all to its screen, I tested the sliders in all possible positions, but the image looked the same no matter the configuration.

Hi guys, what's up? I recently started looking for a replacement for my Galaxy S9, but had some issues finding a replacement that doesn't look like a downgrade. I am a bit outdated when it comes to knowing every model of every brand, so I would love some help with that. I am looking for a phone that has: Excellent screen (especially great white fidelity, like S9's screen does): I watch and read a lot of things on my phone, this is very important for me MicroSD slot (for a 512GB card) Headphone 3.5mm jack (why are they taking that away from the top-of-the-line phones?) Stereo sound That's it I guess? A big battery is a nice plus, but to be honest, at this point, I am satisfied with any amount of battery. Guaranteed system updates for years to come is also another plus. Before you go, let me tell you one bad experience I had recently: I bought a Galaxy M34 after reading its specs, it said that it had a 6000mAh battery and the screen was """the same""" that my Galaxy S9 (because Samsung call both screens "super amoled"), the result? The phone arrived, and I was very, very bothered by its screen, it had a noticeable yellow tint, especially when displaying white, that my Galaxy S9 has none of, and that bothered me so much that I returned it the next day, and went back to using my Galaxy S9. After returning the Galaxy M34, I started searching phones currently available more thoroughly, but I couldn't find any phone that had all four main points that I was looking for. I went to a Samsung store the other day to look at some alternatives, and there I saw that the screen of Galaxy S23 is very good, but it has neither microsd slot nor a headphone jack, so that's a no-no to me. I like Samsung, but I am willing to buy from other brands too, please recommend some good replacements.

I'm looking for a cheapo fan controller that have: Speed control: not necessary to be per fan ON/OFF capability (can turn fans on or off): not necessary to be per fan 4-pin PWM connectors: so I can connect my Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fans At least 5 fan connectors to connect all my case fans Also, if possible: with remote control and no/minimal lights. I live in Brazil, so if possible, models that are sold in Brazil. Some websites that I can point to facilitate verification are Mercado Livre (Brazil's Ebay), zoom.com.br (search in multiple websites at once, a bit like PCPartPicker, but not exclusive for PC parts), or even Google.

Since all front fans of my PC case have died, I'm ordering some Noctua PWM fans (A12), and with those I would like to use a fan controller to be able to manually control their speed (so I can do things such as turn them off at night when I go to sleep, reduce their speed when I'm working, and increase it when I'm playing games, etc). So, in this saga of searching for a fan controller, I found some cheapo fan controllers that have 6-pin fan connectors, like this and this, but I'm not sure if these 6-pin connectors are compatible with PWM 4-pin connector. So guys, do anybody here know if these cheapo fan controllers work with PWM fans? PS.: I have a "plan B" controller (this), which have 4-pin connectors, and would, after some "adaptation", fit in my computer case' front panel, but I prefer using a remote control to control my fans, even at expense of not being able to adjust their speed individually.

I was wondering if that's possible... I really dislike having to type again my password just because I restarted my PC, is there a way to auto login after restarting the PC (but keeping Windows + L to lock the computer or keep asking for password if I shutdown and turn the computer on again)?

I wouldn't buy Ryzen 5 3600XT for $350, it's not worth it, Ryzen 5 3600 is a much better cost effective at $220-ish, plus OP can use that extra budget to buy a better GPU.

What temp are your CPU and GPU sitting while you're gaming?

I am using a Ryzen 7 2700 and a Asus B450M Gaming/BR, and I got these timing on my memory kit (2x16GB): Do you have any suggestion of how I could improve my RAM OC? I don't understand much about timings so I used Ryzen DRAM Calculator and copied the timings it has show to me on the BIOS, and so far so good, but I couldn't find tRFC on the BIOS, or strictly speaking, I could find it, but its value was so off from what Ryzen Calculator has show to me that I just didn't bother changing it since there was a clear mismatch between the way BIOS and Ryzen Calculator handle this timing.

Hello, I have two 16GB dimms (both have the same spec as below) and a guy on the other topic said that these ram sticks probably are Micron E chips. My question is what is the maximum voltage that you would run on these sticks, and why? I am currently running them 3533MHz @1.325v 18-19-19-39 on a Ryzen 7 2700 because I am genuinely afraid of bumping the voltage to 1.4v to get them to a higher frequency. I saw everybody talking about samsung' B die but nobody talks about Micron E.

Can you name to me some of them (only those with 500 chipset) please, for reference? Or if they are too many, please name me those who don't have this feature.

I saw on a video a motherboard for Ryzen 5000 series that could do both static oc and turbo boost dynamically (this feature is called Dynamic OC Switcher in Asus BIOS), and I though wow that's just awesome!!!! now I'm wondering if that's a default feature of all 500 chipsets or maybe just X570, or is it just a exclusive feature of that one motherboard? Here's the video for those who haven't seen it yet.

For a long time I used to use Comodo Firewall as my firewall, but since I reinstalled my Windows I kinda wasn't feeling like going though every single one of my hundreds of exe's to block (or allow) them all, so I was browsing the web looking for a firewall solution that would allow me to easily add entire folders to the blocked access list (similar to how Folder Firewall Blocker works). I used windows firewall as a temporary replacement and I know it isn't exactly secure, but the problem is that Comodo Firewall still does NOT have a simple way to apply a rule to ALL files from a specific folder (to easily allow or block everything inside that folder), and I couldn't found any other firewall that would allow me to do so. Is there any free (or paid, in case there is no free firewall that do this) that allow me to apply a rule (block or allow access to specific things/networks/ips/etc) to a entire folder (or drive)? It would be awesome it if also had a "purge" option available (it checks if the file/folder being referred in that rule still exists in the disk, if it doesn't exist then just delete the rule in order to avoid phantom rules).

I would wait for reviews before jumping to any conclusion, the difference smart access memory makes may be too low to be significant. The new AMD CPU though is very powerful, if you thing you are going to need this extra power then upgrade your CPU for sure.

Hello! I have a HD that is dying, as you can see below I already bought a new HD and it already arrived, its now in process of migrating its data to the new HD (I have also the data from the old HD saved on my google drive just in case the old HD died suddenly), now I want to repurpose this old HD to serve as a temp file storage (for things like Nvidia Shadowplay, etc, things that I wouldn't mind losing at any given time) - so I went ahead and googled "how to fix uncorrectable sector count" and I found a extensive list of things to do, but I am not sure what of those I should do, let me state some things: 1. I don't care about the data that is inside the old HD right now, I can literally delete everything now or delete the partition if it's needed 2. I want to fix it with the least (and fastest) steps So I have now three things I can do on the old HD, run a "surface test" through AOMEI Partition Assistant, run CHKDSK on it or wipe it using "Fill sectors with zero" method. The question is: would the surface test do any good in my case, is the CHKDSK just useful if I want to keep the data in that hard drive or it would be useful for me, or should I just wipe it by filling the entire disk with zeros and (hope that it) isolate the bad sectors?
