Just saw one of my old friends is teaching at my daughters school. 

Gave me the gnarliest case of cognitive dissonance. Like, dude, not ten years ago I saw you take mysterious pills you found on the street under the guise that they might make you high, and now you're teaching algebra to children.

    I mean a lot can change in such a long period, but yeah I can see how it can be very weird seeing him teach algebra to children :D

    I know. I certainly hope I've changed in thosr 10 years.

    It just when you don't experience that change over time it can be pretty startling to meet someone you know in a setting that is quite unlike them to be in 10 years ago.
