  1. For that price, the RX580 is probably the most bang for the buck, but its really on its way out and wont be able to keep up with newer and newer games. Considering how you have been scraping by with a GT450, something tells me that you could make due with the RX580. If the 1660 super cost around the same as the 1660 (about $295 US) Then this would be my pick personally since Its considerably newer and more powerful and its going to be relevant for much longer than RX580. Unfortunately, the 5600XT is really expensive where you live.
  2. that is INSANE how expensive all of that was. No offense, I wouldn't pay $20 for a prebuilt with those parts where I live!
  3. This price sounds steep to me, but i dont know what the market is like in your country. Are there any of the following avaliable for the same amount of money? GTX 1660, GTX 1660 ti, GTX 1660 SUPER, RX5500XT, RX5600XT Any of those would be a better buy.
  4. Back when the 7700k + 1080 ti was king, just a few years ago. Nobody would have ever said this was a bottleneck and 1080 ti is nearly on par with RTX 2080, so yeah. 7700 easily outperforms the likes of first gen ryzen 5 1600 (6 cores) for example in basically any game. (assuming the PC is gaming focused) New games totally take advantage of hypertheading as well.
  5. You can pretty much buy as much graphics card afford with that processor except for like.. the 2080 super and up. Generally speaking, you could get a lot better graphics card than an RX 580 and not have a bottleneck for most games. What really matters is whether or not you are getting the performance you want out of your system. No need to ditch the 1050 ti if you are happy with your frametime performance. How much for the RX 580?
  6. Unless you really just want to spend money, there's nothing wrong with just using the GTX 760 to hold off until them IMO. I don't see the point of getting the RX580/ RX590, no offense..
  7. I didn't even consider the HDMI part... maybe just return the 5700xt, use the 760 and wait till the TV comes out to re-evaluate.
  8. If it were me, I'd keep the 5700XT until it doesn't provide enough performance for my liking. Considering your new screen will be a 4k OLED, It wouldn't be enough performance for my liking. I'd personally go RTX 2080 ti and sell the GTX 760. If you aren't using it though, theres really no point...
  9. GTX 1660 if you need new https://www.newegg.com/zotac-geforce-gtx-1660-zt-t16600k-10m/p/N82E16814500480 https://www.newegg.com/msi-geforce-gtx-1660-gtx-1660-ventus-xs-6g-oc/p/N82E16814137400
  10. It totally depends on the game or application. Generally speaking your i3 CPU will be limiting you... to what degree? I can't say for sure but probably just a bit unless you want to play the newest AAA games. If it were me, I'd get the 1060 for now and see how your performance is. It will certainly be better than whatever you've got right now. Then start saving for an i7-4770 like Fasauceome suggested.
  11. GTX 1060 all the way. If the RX 580 or RX 480 can be had for at least like... 30% less money, then I'd instead go for one of these.
  12. Nah guy. You made the better purchasing decision by going with B450. If you have a NVMe add in card, and its working out for you as-is then there's no reason to swap them out. It'll make no difference for the vast majority of use cases.
  13. If I had to pick one of these two, the 1060 is the easy choice assuming you have the required PCIe power connector available and the power supply isn't total junk.
  14. I wouldn't get it. Considering your box is low profile, I'd go for one of 1050 ti's or 1650's that these guys are suggesting. If you cant afford either, at least go for a GT 1030
  15. I would advise saving your money. There's nothing wrong with running all 3 monitors off of the 5700xt
  16. It pulls all power from the mobo You would only be able to play games on the 5700x connected monitors.
  17. You are stranded on an island. You get to pick three albums to listen to for the rest of your life, what are they? In no particular order: Depeche Mode - Violator The Cure - Disintegration Pink Floyd - The Wall
  18. I'd use the stock air cooler. Reviews say ryzen 3000 series don't have much overclocking headroom to begin with. If you really want something white, go with PopsicleHustlers recommendation.
  19. Funny enough I actually did some googling and found this thread before i posted! I just assumed that since OP got a g4400, getting a Z chipset was out of the question. Considering OP said the g4400 was what he could afford, i think I wound up OK.
  20. I'm also skeptical. Probably old group regulated design. Does micro center have any other offerings with this wattage in this price point from a more common manufacturer? That said, it'll probably work OK regardless.
  21. $h!t Manufacturers Say: Does Gigabyte alternating fan directions matter or is it just marketing?
