  1. Yes, as Hero mentioned. The cable will work as a standard 2.0 cable with the GTX 1080 if I understood right.
  2. Basically I just buy 1 good 2.1 HDMI. Use it with my gtx 1080 and I will have the cable for the new card. Which was my initial plan
  3. Just got the LG C1 55" My graphic card with the current market still the GTX 1080. I have no hdmi around the house (no, I do not, I use display port for everything atm) I was wondering if I the 2.1 HDMI would work as a 2.0 with the 1080. So I have the cable waiting for the new graphic card.
  4. Not for me mate. I do have a 3K$ computer already. And whatever is pc-powered looks better than something that it is not. Even with the same catalogue. I would be very stupid not to take advantage of the monster I built recently.
  5. I know The GTX1080 is still current hardware. I didn´t get an Rtx cause it is a fking gimmick My plans are to change next gen for the "3080". If necessary. To be honest if this can hold the bay at 60 fps in my Asus rog 3440x1440 I will stick to it.
  6. No one here is asking your opinion about Gpus or other hardware. Which you are clearly not an expert. Hold to the question at hand or keep it low. Have a good day.
  7. Dont worry Steelo. He did put his money in a 2080 and now everything thats not that is "a mess" Dont mind him.
  8. I do have a 1080 thanks. Computer is not the problem here And I am already happy with the res. the Rift is offering. Those are not my concenrs
  9. The moment has come, I finally can comfortably afford a Vr headset. The problem is that the Vr scene now is tricky. I do have a powerfull computer so the "quest" and the "go" are no options for me. Then there are the Index and the Oculus Rift S. And considering the index is 1.000$ (600 more than the Rift S) the rift comes, all in all, in a very sweet spot for me to take a decision. Is, right now, the best Pc-Powered Vr for the price.... BUT! And this is the reason that I make the post. This is not my first rodeo when it comes to buy techonology. And I have a bit of a sixth sense to feel when a product is a bit out of the market. Facebook did not talk about it in their last meeting, it came a bit long ago so maybe something new is coming for the same price?... Yada yada yda. Anyhow. Would you go for it consdiering I´ve been waiting for this moment really long or would you wait cause, in fact, theres something better around the corner? Thanks!
  10. I'm not recommending anything. I'm a bit confused by your question. And my specs are in my profile. But I won't be cocky and be sarcastic about the fact on how to use the forums You're welcome to pass by and see what I work with.
  11. Forums are for ask when you're not sure about something. And when google can come in handy is always better to have more than one opinion. Specially when more than once is just pass by here and lend mine to others That's a community is about. So no, I don't think I'm anoyhing anyone by ask something about what I'm not at all competent. What I'm competent though is about human interactions. I work in a hospital after all and spent several years studying for it. And your coment was pretentious. Is that ok? You have something else to discuss with me? Have a nice day otherwise.
  12. Well if you know this you just could said it. If you formulate it as a question you make someone feels stupid I don't send anytying, I don't cast video or nothing like it. So it's not weird that I don't know this. Thanks anyway for your posts.
  13. I did that sometime ago and I want to rememebr it didn't work. At least not to send the screen when a Videogame was ocuring
  14. Mmmmm this does not look like a casual thing you do in some minutes I would watch it with more time in the coming days. And actually I will try to dig up a bit more into the Discord way. I'm use to the program and may work.
