  1. I've been playing several games where my GPU usage has gone up to 100%, and the temps never went above 67 degrees celcius with the fans never going above 50%.
  2. My card is at 50-55 degrees celcius idle in the summertime. It's worth noting though, that it never even hits 70 when under load. It goes up to the high 60s with a max fan speed of around 50%. My card used to idle at the mid 30s during winter. Are these temps reasonable?
  3. I have a MacBook Air 13,3" from 2014, and I really like the colors and the glossy look of the display. Here's the specification page for the laptop: https://support.apple.com/kb/SP700 I've been looking for a monitor with similar colors, but without luck. I've tried a couple of Asus and AOC monitors, but they are not similar at all. I know the MacBook Air doesn't have the most accurate dispay in the world, but I really like the way it looks. I don't care if it's 1080p or 1440p, flat or curved.
  4. Simply booting into safe mode and deleting did the trick. No need for cmd, even. Thanks!
  5. Didn't work, still stuck at 0 byte. Thanks for the suggestion though.
  6. I stumbled upon Unlocker while looking for answers. Looks promising. I'll give it a shot.
  7. This happened late yesterday, so I shut down for the night and hoped it would work today. It's still stuck at 0 byte.
  8. I downloaded a texture pack for minecraft to my desktop, copied the file to my game folder, then tried to delete the original file on my desktop, but it won't let me. The process is stuck at "0 byte deleted". Any idea how I can get rid of this file? It's a very popular texture pack, so I doubt there's anything malicious about the file itself.
  9. Is it possible to create a Word document or .pdf without page breaks?
  10. I play single player games like BioShock Infinitie, Tomb Raider and Grand Theft Auto V. I have an i5-4690K @ 4.5GHz, 16GB DDR3, and a GTX 970 3.5GB. If it matters, I prefer to play these games with a controller. Based on what I've read, 1440p is a huge upgrade from 1080p, and 144Hz shouldn't be important for single player games.
  11. I use a Lumia 920 running Windows Phone 8.1. I've set up my email with the correct servers and everything, but it won't sync. If I read then delete a mail on my phone, it stays unread in my inbox on the server. I'm experiencing similar problems on Outlook on PC. It's a POP mail.
  12. Defragging with Defraggler definitely sped up my drives performance though.
  13. I'm not talking about watching the movies. The drive is solely for backup. It's the fact that I rip two movies a day, so there's a constant flow of new data coming in. One of my BD rips was split into over 400 fragments.
  14. Which one should I trust? I've never manually defragged before, which makes me think Defraggler is correct, but I also thought Windows auto defragged, which makes me think Windows might be correct as well. It is a 5 year old HDD, so it wouldn't surprise me if it truly is 59% fragmented. Also. another quick question; the drive where I store all my media (uncompressed CD and Blu-Ray rips etc.) keeps getting fragmented very fast (3% a day. I think this is fast?). Is this because of the constant writing of files? Thanks in advance!
  15. Will converting uncompressed FLAC to compressed FLAC be different from ripping straight to compressed FLAC? My situation is that I have a lot of albums I ripped from CDs I own a long time ago, but back then I did not know that the compression options for FLAC didn't affect audio quality, so I went with uncompressed. However, as my library of FLAC has built up over the years, I figured I should compress it. Since FLAC is lossless, can I convert my old uncompressed FLACs to compressed (level 8 option) without any loss in quality? It's pretty much like ripping from a CD, right? Thanks!
