  1. Yea. SMSL was just on a few sites and looked decent enough for a "budget" setup. If there's something else I should rather look at, I'm open.
  2. I'll admit I'm not against upgrading the speakers either... but I don't have a ton to through at either, but I could maybe scrounge ~200 for speakers+amp.
  3. Looking for recommendations for a desktop amplifier for Micca MB42's. Something under $100, might spend more if needed. Was looking at the SMSL SA50, but not sure if it's the right option. thanks in advance.
  4. setup openvpn on raspberry pi,configure router, connect to that and then connect to home computer via RDP....... orrrrrr get an account on no-ip or something similar with a domain name, configure router and then connect via RDP using domain name... or go with splashtop.
  5. The last two nights I've been playing just trying to finish up things with it, using Steam browser / +youtube videos, after a few minutes and a few shift+tab it would just crash and show me the "Could not write dump" error. Think the game is slightly broken.
  6. Replaced my Romer G - G810 with this guy. First MX Cherry KB. Loving it so far. Any other iKBC users?
  7. if you can, go pick up a new PSU - check their return policy, and test it with a new PSU..... still might be your mobo that's shot..
  8. possibly.. IMO Depends on how much it bothers you as well... I have 2 of these and both have some IPS Glow, but not much bleed. there's been some people who get dead pixels (some few, some a lot). Both of mine have 1 tiny pixel each that is dead. Acer won't replace/fix unless it's 6 or more I think. I've been really happy with mine though.
  9. Highly recommend the ACER Predator XB271HU IPS. 144hz/165hz (Overclockable).
  10. still shows me an image I had selected before.. not the spotlight. when I lock the computer, it will show me the Spotlight image, but logging in it shows me a different image.
  11. I'm trying to correct this issue I've been having.. I guess I don't understand Windows 10's lock screen. When I set a picture as the lock screen, it will show when I'm logging in for the first time and when it's locked.. but when I choose to use the Windows Spotlight it will only show when I "lock" my computer, and show an image I set previously when I first login (after a reboot). Is this the way it's supposed to work? Right now I'm stuck with an image on the login page, that I previously set, I cannot get rid of it. I have turned off Spotlight for the lock screen, restarted, turned it back on, tried some tweaks online clearing out folders and such (https://www.windowscentral.com/how-fix-windows-spotlight-stuck-same-image-windows-10) but no use... Am I doing something wrong or just not understanding how it's supposed to work...>?
  12. I used to visit other forums that would have a sticky for people to share their backgrounds/desktops.. anyway we could get a sticky for the month or something to share current backgrounds/desktops?
  13. Install Linux distro of your choice onto the drive.. use https://rufus.akeo.ie/ to write it to a USB Drive. or ETCHER. then you can boot to that... if you install Windows on another Driver you'll have to either choose which drive to boot to from the Boot Menu, or tweak the MBR on the drives for Dual Boot. or you could just install Windows, partition the drive and then install Linux... or run it via a VM
