Not always true. I've currently got a list of games I intend to purchase, those purchase decisions I made after playing the cracked versions of the game.

That being said, I agree with your general sentiment.

    Yarrr.

The purpose of a company is to bring goods and services to market at a competitive price. That should be the focus, not the psychotic obsession with "all of the money, all of the time" as Jim Sterling puts it (He's not wrong about that. He's just wrong for blanket blaming capitalism).

I consider myself a capitalist, but the way companies run today is moronic and short sighted. They care more about quarterly profits than having a reputable brand or good product. I blame the stock market and shareholders, rather than the CEO's who are obligated legally to only care about the shareholders.

Well, when you can afford to replace any item or just ask the company for another one you aren't going to be as careful as someone who has saved for months and can't afford a replacement.

And loosing that access is as easy as breaking the ever changing Facebook Community Standards even off the platform. And that ban means real ban, you get banned, you loose your HMD, not only access to your games on your account but the access to the whole HMD.

Even I, as a person who really dislikes Facebook and will never get anything from them and basicly treat them as a cancer, expected inside-out tracking data to be collected and used by a Facebook in the coming years, not this soon. Like I kind of knew that at some point someone will turn the inside-out tracking to be a data collecting goldmine, but Facebook actually getting permission for that already? You except them to be bad and they turn out to be a lot worse.

At this point I am so happy that I didn't get Rift and opted out from getting anything from Facebook and was so left with the OG Vive and only got upgrade to Index Controllers and only because I find inside-out tracking to be garbage compared to lighthouse tracking. I wouldn't really mind Facebooks spying because they probably do it anyway and there's a ton of bigger players doing even worse spying and they don't even ask permission. But that part where your 10 years old post saying some word that just now turns out to be next bad word for some minority rendering your 400-500€ headset the worst paperweight (because it's light). Yeah, at least I don't even actually need to run newest Steam client or even the actual Steam client to use my headset and no matter how hard Valve bans me my old AF headset doesn't turn out to be a paperweight.

    No?

He's been correct at least several times however nobody recognises that a lot of people got 30 series leaks wrong and yet we're still calling them reputable.
I respectfully completely disagree. WCCFTech has no real sources whereas MLID does and following what he now knows about what was reliable from his 30 series leaks has helped him solidfy the quality sources he has and he's ditched his sources that have lied.

Also, I realize now that he also discussed RDNA's big cache structure as a reason for not needing huge memory bandwidth. Even assuming arguendo that this is somehow untrustworthy or a flat-out lie, Kepler and Maxwell showed us that more L2 cache helped reduce memory bandwidth needs and so the only way this is untrue is if RDNA2 doesn't have more cache.
And everybody else got things wrong.

Point is he learned which of his sources he needed to ditch and kept the ones that gave him reliable info.
    See above.

His unreliable sources were ditched and he's only got more accurate sources now.

It would appear we are getting a clearer view on the Navi 21-based GPU (known as, Sienna Cichlid). Navi 21 will supposedly pack up to 80 CUs (equates to 5120 stream processors, "Cores"). There's two variants however: Navi 21a @ 2050MHz, and also Navi 21b @ up to 2200MHz. The faster Navi 21b @ 2200MHz would result in performance somewhere around 22 TFLOPs; meaning on paper, it's slower than an RTX 3080 @ about 30 TLFOPs. TFLOPs performance doesn't always translate as faster howbeit, and AMD might have IPC gains too (due to RDNA 2). The Radeon RX 6000-series is going to be on the 7nm node (TSMC), while NVIDIA's 3000-series are on Samsung 8nm. Hence, expect the Navi 21b variant to get close to RTX 3080 performance or maybe even an RTX 3070; while the Navi 21a should be within RTX 3060 Ti vicinity (with pricing clearly dictating the winner in those specific performance categories / slots). This is of course, all speculation, and subject to change. Nonetheless, we are given a decent blueprint here for possible Navi (21, 22, 23) performance in the mean time.

I'm not going to bother with either the 3080 or the 3090. All you are doing is showing NVIDIA that you are happy to pay their absurd prices. The second AMD is back to being a joke they'll hike the prices up. The only reason they didn't this time is because they don't want to underestimate AMD like Intel did. I'm going to wait for the 15th for the RTX 3070 and see how it performs and then compare it with whatever AMD announces on the 28th. If everyone rewarded companies for pro consumer behaviour we would all be sitting here playing in 4K at half the price.

And btw you guys keep saying that the 3090 is for rich people but I honestly see a lot of poor people with no jobs who use their benefit money on these things. Same people spent their money on Titans in SLI back then. Gamers are not famous for being bright sadly.
