I agree, but I extend that power to social media in general. Facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.
 
All of them should be classified in such a way that they fall under the first amendment. Their power is simply too great to allow unchecked.

Well it sounds like you really really need to have that done.  The “bang” you’ve been hearing is likely rapidly expanding air.  With electrical this often means some material, most often metal, usually in a wire,  flash heated to a phase change state.    This is bad.  There are other possibilities for what may have happened as well.  They are generally even worse.  There are some old types of breakers that make a very loud noise when they pop.  They generally do that because one of the other mentioned problems is in the process of happening, and it is attempting to keep the building from burning down. An emergency fail safe measure. Still bad.

In all honesty, the whole project was a pointless joke. What's the point of having this cut down broken OS that is more unpredictable than Windows itself. May just as well use Linux then. Would have billion times better experience.
 
If it had just trimmed down regular ISO with removed preinstalled junk and telemetry just cut down for the most part without breaking anything, then fair enough. But the extent of disabling things they went was just silly and pointless.

but they're really not. anyone who takes two additional seconds to look at the Buds can tell they /aren't/ Airpods, even when someone else is wearing them.

The performance from the 2070 (and variants) and 2080 (and variants) actually had me looking for cheap 1080 Ti deals for a little bit.  And I was close to pulling the trigger on a 1080 Ti when they were still in production, but trips to the strip club quickly relieved me of the cash for it.  
 
So if a 3080 is gonna get me double performance of my current card then I'm glad I didn't buy a 1080 Ti and instead spent quality time with strippers.
