FX was AMD's (and currently Intel's) bad strategy of just strapping more cores on. The Pentium D I'm pretty sure was actually Pentium 3 dies if I'm not mistaken? -

Honestly I kinda want to see what a Core 2 Duo would look like on 14nm/22nm. -

Only Thunderbolt equiped USB-C can output DisplayPort as far as I know, and seeing as that's an AMD board, that is just regular USB-C, so no to your first question. For your second question, you mean something like this?: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Mini-DisplayPort-HDMI-Cable/dp/B0134V29UA/ref=asc_df_B0134V29UA/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167141218295&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7657524444759154331&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9033680&hvtargid=pla-270835044413&psc=1

It may be a proprietary connector, judging by the color of the PCB, it's an old board. Manufacturers really liked using proprietary internal connectors in those days.

I realized I was an idiot and my D-pad was sticky. I'm running Windows 8.1. I'm having a sound issue now, but at least I can play the games.

I would look into a GT 1030 then, or maybe wait to see if AMD or Nvidia makes a next-gen equivalent.- 11 replies

At that price range, I can ask, what is your definition of "low-power"?- 11 replies

Any standard ATX PSU should have Molex on it if I'm not mistaken? If you can't find it, and if the card doesn't take too much power, you could adapt a SATA power to Molex.

Can you tell us what your definition of "cheap" is? Are we talking 5 pounds, or are we talking 70?- 11 replies
