Couldn't seem to find my cards priority port yet. I found a cd (which was included with my gpu) which I can run on my pc it has drivers on them but I am not sure if they're different from the nvidia drivers and I don't have a cd player... -

Hello, I've build my own pc and I experienced some real bad fps drops in GTA V, Tom clancy's: wildlands, battlefield 1, all of the AAA games I guess. So this happend recently. I was playing a game with now stable fps BUT once I alt-tabbed out of the game my desktop screen started to turn red once I hovered. So I went searching on google and apparently I had to reinstall my drivers so I did that no outcome it still happens some times. My fps drops seem less and I didn't experience them lately (I didn't play any of the games I mentioned above either....). These are my parts: CPU: Intel - Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Cooler Master - Hyper TX3 Evo 43.1 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard: Asus - STRIX Z270H ATX LGA1151 Motherboard Memory: Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory Storage: Western Digital - Blue 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Video Card: KFA2 - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB Video Card Case: Cooler Master - MasterBox Lite 5 ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Cooler Master - 650W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply Things I tried already: - Reinstall GPU drivers - Reinstall games - Ask Nvidia support - Ask GPU manifactor support - Check which power mode is on - vysnc on or off Benchmark score with Heavenbenchmark 4.0 (Highest settings 1920x1080): If you know what this problem is or how I can fix it or if you can help me. Well actually its most of the time my GPU running in the 80 - 90s. Like it did today with TESO (elder scrolls online) and than 'my cpu is between 50% - 70%. And than my GPU also returns to 50% - 70%.....?

I play: GTA, ARK, WILDLANDS OVERWATCH, ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE,. Around the 40 fps some times it 's 80+ but mostly between 40 and 60. Which is not normal for a 1080 I guess

I have really low fps in game with my gtx1080. Build: 16gb ram ddr4 2400mhz 650watt Gtx Kfa2 EXOC 1080 I5 7600k 3.8 ghz Wdblue 500gb ssd Please contact me or mail me or discord me. Check my system or task manager with me... I just want to know what I should do to fix it.

Nothing only discord and the game itself. And many people told me the I5 7600k bottlenecks the gtx 1080. Its a Kfa2 EXOC gtx 1080.

I've got 2x8 2400mhz so I don't think that's the problem. I think it's my CPU that bottlenecks my 1080. My GPU is in every game at 100% usage and processor between 50 and 100% usage.

It unfortunately didn't do much. Thanks for helping me anyways. I'll make a printscreen of task manager while playing gta v. I did this earlier and I saw that my GPU was at 100% and CPU between 60% and 95%.

I see I've made a mistake here. It's 2715x1527 inplace of 2560x1440. Also my Nvidia Geforce Experience says that I am using the optimal settings for GTA V.

I've been playing GTA V and did monitor some of my parts while playing: FPS was between 43-80 this time (Storymode) NOTE! The last part of the graph (where it goes lower) I am alt tabbed out of the game to make screenshots! NOTE! I see I've got the language of MSI afterburner on Netherlands. So I am going to teach some dutch: "gebruik" means: "usage". And "vermogen" means: "power". And "temperatuur" means: "temperature". And "geheugen" means:"memory". Last but not least "klok" means: "clock". I hope this clears up some stuff. Sorry for the inconvenience! PS: Don't mind the discord.

It says number of processors and it's 1 by default should I change this to 4? In the boot menu of Asus I selected the option performance.

Does it make any difference if overclock my processor? And if so how do I overclock it without destroying it. I believe my Asus motherboard has this setting but I am not sure how to.
