I do have Windows 7 ultimate of 2009. I tried the system config boot but it didnt help. Please help to get the most from my rams.

    You should create a thread in the CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory forum for people to be able to help you.

    Most likely you're running 32bit windows which has a limit on how much memory it can use.

    Thx for your advice cuz I am super new. Yes I do have 32 bit windows because before I had only 2gb ram. Now I have 6gb and I am thinking to upgrade to windows 10 64bit . Do you think it will solve my problem?

    32 bit windows can only use up to 4GB of RAM. If you upgrade to a 64bit operating system that limit is no longer an issue and you will be able to use all of the RAM installed in the system.

    @Connor Mcallister happy to help.

    If you get stuck on how to install Windows 10 64bit or have any issues, pop over to the Windows forum and people will be able to help you out there.
