  1. I plugged the sata cable in aswell as the 4 pin header into my CPU fan header. I load up AI Suite from ASUS and it says the controllable range is N/A is there any known fix as this CPU pump is obnoxiously noisy.

  5. I have had a q8400 for the longest time running a media server for my house. The thing is like 6 years old and still runs like a champ with a Seidon 240m cooling it
  6. 4690k for the win, cheap and a beast (especially if you overclock)
  7. All I am going to say is overclock the crap out of the fX-6300 and maybe. You need a better CPU (one with more per core power) to really utilize the R9 290 to the max. I had an FX-6300 with a 760 and even that bottlenecked.
  8. http://steelseries.com/products/audio The Siberia V3 is great.
  9. Great keyboard, love the Cherry Brown Switches, and it comes with O-Rings pre-installed. The backlighting is nice, but not controllable other than 3 different light modes and off in two control zones. I recommend it for sure.
  10. BTW: is LTT really slow for you guys aswell? Idk about the water cooling, but to answer that ^, no.
  11. I'd suggest grabbing a physical temperature sensor, whether it be handheld, or a case addon that sits inside your PC as a temperature monitor permanently, and see what the temperature actually is. As dragoon20005 said, AMD temp sensors are wacky and unreliable.
  12. You should not use Prime 95 with Haswell chips, it pushes them a lot further than they will ever go and is not an accurate representation. I suggest to download the AIDA 64 demo and use that for stability/temp tests.
  13. I still have my LED kit from my old build, so I wonder how that'll look
  14. It doesn't look that brown unless you look up close.
  15. It's cool that I took these while it was running, but due to them being pictures you can't even tell.
  16. Built this originally about a year ago, and recently got a new mobo and CPU. I wanted to test my new camera a bit so I took some shots of my dusty PC ahaha. ASUS Z97-A Motherboard ASUS DCII GTX 760 CM Seidon 240m Fractal Design Define R4 GTX 760 Full system shot ASUS Logo peaking its head through. Dirty radiator Seidon 240M waterblock/pump That Define R4 button glows way too bright at night, this picture does not do it justice. Seidon 240m waterblock/pump up close.
