Its your average HDD, on par with a WD blue from my understanding, I wouldent worry about it unless you were going to run in it a server or use it for surveillance recording or something

7200 rpm is good enough for home use. Seabass9900 is right, until you put it into the server, that drive should not let you down.
And, if they provide good warranty, why not take it?

I will tell you right now that that mixer will not make your audio better in any way shape or form, so if it is a usb mic I encourage you just to plug it in through usb, besides using adapters and making connections like that is a temporary fix not a permanent solution.

6.2 mhz lol, its often the cheap sound cards and a to d converters that boast numbers like that.

Dont use your headphone jack and dont use rca unless its litterally a 5.1 rca setup. if the coax is Digital coax that would be your best choice for a 5.1 connection from your computer, and you must find a usb adapter for it to get that digital 5.1 as the headphone jack only outputs stereo

Don't trust random youtube reviews for audio. Taste in Audio is often subjective and if they've only ever listened to shitty audio devices, they wouldn't know any better.

If the Beats Pro sounded bad to you, they are bad, period. Highly unlikely that you'd get a dud in a store, especially the Apple Store, a place literally designed to sell you crap at a premium while making you feel like you made a good purchase decision.

If you're deep in the Apple ecosystem, just get the Airpods. You know what you're getting at least and it's backed by Apple.

The article is correct, but there's a way you can skip everything past 2 if you want things to go faster
Copy and paste the game's folder in the original steamapps/common directory to the new one. Go to the game's page in the Steam store and note the URL. There should be a number at the end. For example, Skyrim's URL is store.steampowered.com/app/489830/. So if you're moving Skyrim, note the 489830 Go to the original steamapps directory. Find the appmanifest file that has the same number as the game's page URL. So for Skyrim, this should be something like appmanfiest489830.manifest Copy that appmanifest file to the new steamapps directory Restart Steam if you had it running. The game should still be there and installed, as if nothing happened. To re-iterate:
The game lives in the steamapps/common folder The appmanifest file lives in the steamapps folder

unlike the rest of these guys I am going to say its worth it, sure its outdated hardware, but (at least where I live) I cannot find a 1060 for less than $400 and you probably cant build the rest of the rig on a ~200ish dollar budget, even used. just my 2 cents

Well this was a pleasant surprise. I did not expect it to launch today.
Now time to look at benchmarks!

Edit: Never mind. Just a soft launch.
Doesn't seem like trustworthy benchmarks (as in, not from AMD's marketing team) exist yet either.
Its nice to get more info though.

By the way people should NOT pre-order. Wait until benchmarks are out before putting money down.

I think it's worth clarifying for those who might not know:
Humber and Sheridan are both advanced technical Colleges, whereas Wildred Laurier is a traditional University. In Ontario (And the rest of Canada, really), Colleges and Universities are not the same thing.

With that in mind, Sheridan and Humber are both offering advanced degrees, in which you still earn a University degree. Many Colleges offer these types of programs, often in partnership with a local University.

I would personally opt for the Advanced Degree out of Sheridan or Humber - depending on which area you like more - Oakville or Toronto. The advanced degree hosted by a college will give you a mix of both traditional University and College education, giving you the best of both.
