We've been experiencing a trend recently in laptops toward taller aspect ratios, like the 3:2 aspect ratio on the Surface Laptop 3 (among others) and the countless 16:10 laptop displays available. Will taller monitor ratios ever make a comeback with the better resolutions we have today? I'm by no means suggesting we all whip out 1024x768 Gateway monitors (although, if that's your thing, go for it).
Side note: speaking of old monitors, will retro enthusiasts jump to CRTs again at some point like the resurgence in vinyl records?
