xhackforeverxdx reacted to jaslion in Breathing life into old laptop
I'd say let this one be.
It's too old for streaming and steam link is gonna hit it hard as this gpu doesn't support h265 encoding.

Then it prob aint worth putting time into it a 5400 rpm hdd + that cpu wont make u happy no matter the os even for very simple stuff

xhackforeverxdx reacted to NorKris in 13900k Outrageous temps. Need tips what to do.
Front Rad/AIO (intake) is the best config for any PC.
Get noctua or Grizzly kryonaut thermal paste.
push pull Arctic P12 ARGB fans
if this wont help, then only a 360 will

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from villain_in_glass in gaming laptop not performing as well as expected
I would not really use userbenchmark to check out gpu perf 😄 maybe use a dedicated gpu benchmark and check out your score compared to other systems with that gpu u could also check if u run into thermal or power limits maybe your power adapter is dying

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from RockSolid1106 in Selling a 3060 on eBay?
I would just keep the System as it is i dont think it makes sense to sell a 3060 on ebay pay 10% fees and then buy a 1660ti in the current market see the Card as future proof maybe u will get a higher res display in the future or smth who knows 🙂

xhackforeverxdx reacted to Moonzy in Is my gpu dying ?
It can degrade like that, but it's quite slow
2 years seems to be a fair amount of time, maybe try +900 now instead of +1000
Or go back to stock and see if our still occurs, just in case it's something else

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from Josh._.xiv in Is my pc Bottlenecked
Its fine as it is if ur only focus is gaming maybe get a used 2060 super they are pretty cheap right now and that would give u a nice fps boost while running the same gpu with a ryzen 3600 would not make that big of a diff
What res are u playing 1080p or 1440p

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from keitaroc in Can my Omen 880 -556 be upgraded for the new RTX series cards?
Pretty sure a rtx 3070 will be able to run with your 500w power supply and since the case is closed anyway who cares how the mobo looks as long as it works there is no reason to replace a 8700k wtf
-
xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from Flame__ in Burnt graphics Card, possible to fix?
Try to find schematics to see what did explode then start cleaning the board with ipa and start separating the pcb layers again if possible as long as u get rid of any short the gpu might still work if the Component that died wasnt important unlikely but not impossible ^^

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from Taco Annihilator in Replacing the Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2
Had a Razer Blackwidow Chroma V1 and replaced it for the same reason the white * background* on the keyboard looked like Ass after 3 years i got the SteelSeries Apex Pro u can set the keys how u want them and the keys are * open * so u can blow out dirt 10x more easy if u can life without mx red switches its maybe worth a look i love it EDIT there seems to be a version with red switches and its even cheaper

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from Mario5 in I want to overclock my gpu...
As long as u dont touch voltage ( locked anyway ) u cant really damage the chip so just try out how far u can go before it gets unstable

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from Warin in New TV : looking for advice
Qled is just marketing bla bla its a normal lcd panel ( va in samsungs case ) i would stay away from the lower end sonys tho they use ips panels and trust me u dont want 1000:1 in a Tv black bars etc will look awful and your coming from a plasma ( very good black levels) so a ips panel will burn your eyes out ^^
The Perfect tv for u is a 55 zoll Oled like a c9 and u should be able to get one around 1200/1300 euros trust me the exta size is not worth the loss of picture quali a lg c9 rapes both of the models u named Oled is like next gen plasma perfect blacks and perfect viewing angels

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from zeusthemoose in New PC now or wait?
In terms of value the 10th gen i5 is pretty decent aswell it even beats the i7 in some games so its kinda the new perfect gaming cpu and to me that would be worth the 80 extra over a ryzen 3600

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from kelvinhall05 in Good Deal?

xhackforeverxdx got a reaction from Celmor in The machine doesn't do anything, no beeps, LEDs or spinning fans after memory upgrade.
For me it was a old fx8350 it just went off and never came back after i checked the power supply i replaced the board and it did run many years after that
Cpus kinda never die if u dont do a massiv oc so its very unlikely that the cpu is the Problem here i have a feeling your Board just shit itself
