Do u still have warrenty on that card if no matter the bios the card crashes/artefacts it might be dying

Mainboard stock settings are alot of times just pretty horrible on 13th gen having way to high vcore + a bad oc running from the factory

While i agree with that before u change the cooler try lowering the vcore (undervolt) i have a i9 13900kf and with stock voltage even a 360mm high end aio could not handel it

Pretty sure Discord just does not support hdr streaming at all i also have a hdr Monitor and if i want to stream smth in discord i just turn hdr off

Thats would be a big downgrade and not worth the money sadly the x27p had 364 zones and 1000 nits peak the sony 600 nits and 48 zones or smth and that for 1k not worth at all it costs the same as the samsung neo g8 in germany and that one had 2000 nits peak and 1000+ zones if it would just be smaller thanks anyway ^^

I have a Acer x27p since it came out and i am very happy with it sadly it seems to be dying (turned off without no power for 30 min after that and one dark spot on the display now u dont notice it in real content only on flat colors but still sad :C ) what would be the best replacement for this Monitor my Budget is around 2k euro i am looking for 4k 144hz again at 27 inch the Problem is i cant find anything thats 27 4k 144hz with mini led / real hdr once u have been there u dont want to go back only thing i found was the neo g8 from samsung but thats 32 and not 27 inch dont know if i want a bigger Monitor since i am pretty close to it and 32 feels a bit big i can still wait a bit since the Monitor is still working for now in case there is smth coming out in the next Months would be great if someone could recommend smth i am close to buying another x27p from ebay haha

Then it prob aint worth putting time into it a 5400 rpm hdd + that cpu wont make u happy no matter the os even for very simple stuff

I mean before u think about a os u really should replace that old slow af hdd but even then that old dualcore prob wont make u very happy

Hell no the 12900k should not bottelneck a 4080 at normal use at all xD only way u would run into a cpu bottelneck is plaiyng games at 1080p medium settings and well thats not what u buy a 4080 for ^^

Its horrible i already tryed it i have a 4080 playing at 4k and dlss 3.0 while aming / moving fast does not work at all like wtf xD it feels super strange i just disabled it and went back to dlss 2.0 on Quality setting

Of course there is a big diff if u draw fresh air instead of preheated air from your gpu

If its open mesh i would just put it in the front a 240 aio is already a bit to small for your i9 so atleast give that poor boy fresh air at not preheated system air ^^

I dont really understand u how do u want to mount a aio in the back ? xD when its 240mm only places u could put that aio is on the top and in the front also does your Case have a front glass panel ? i see there a diff versions if yours has a glaspanel in the front i have a feeling your system aint getting air at all xD

I think u dont fully understand what getting hot means Your gpu might sit only at 60/70c while gaming cause the cooler is pretty big and made for that card but that card still draws like what 300 watt and dumps that into your system and where does that heat go ^^ straight into your radiator since it exhausts hot air so ye 240mm aio as exhaust for a 13900k there u have your Problem

Your cpu might become a bottelneck even at 4k i had a 8700k and bought a 4080 ended up upgrading my cpu aswell since in games like cyberpunk when having discord and stuff in the background my cpu was 100% and i was losing Performance pretty sure a 3700x is not that much better then my 8700k was so eh only buying a 4080 is prob not gonne work out that great aswell

Hitting 100c in cinebench is pretty normal for a 240 aio since it draws up do 300w+ thats smth almost no cooler can handel in derbauers vid u can see him hitting 100c in cinebench even with a costum loop but in games the temps should not be that high is your aio on the top ? drawing in the hot air of your gpu could cause that

U too ? xD i had a thread about it aswell and i run a 360 aio pulling fresh air in the front lmao * only * 36k points your cpu is really hitting the Thermal limit quite hard i think your cooler just cant handel it at your current settings try to lock the performance cores to 5.3 ghz or smth and try a - voltage offset that thing draws 320w in my system even my 360mm aio with fresh air is at its limit

Would u be able to go am5 ? they gone down in prices (at least in germany) quit a bit and it would make your new System alot more futureproof

Ye thats why i was worried my 8700k had a 280 aio and only hit like 80ish at 4.9ghz so when i started my new pc i was like waaaaaaaaaaaaaat when it insta went 100c but well i got it fixed by just undervolting and forcing it to 5.3ghz all p core now i only hit 90c max in cinebench thats still not perfect but i dont render i just game and in cyberpunk its only 50ish if even that i just got a 13900k to be futureproof for the next few gpus not cause i need that much cpu power atm

Was able to get it in line at 5300mhz perf core with -0.07000 - voltage offset now cinebench only pushes it to 90 ish and not 100 xD cyberpunk runs at 50c so all good i guess

Maybe but even with a costum loop u would need atleast 2 360 rads to cool it

ye i am reading about it but 100c on some cores and 300w power draw in cinebench is some crazy stuff what fking cooler can handel 300w constant

Could someone tell me how to tame this beast ? xD Bios is way diff from my old 8700k even tho both are asus. power draw goes up to almost 300w but p cores only run at like 5.3 i have a CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX 3 cores hit 100c some hit 91 to 97 the watercooler is working fine as far as i can see it as soon as i remove the load temp drop back into the 30ish ( while using cinebench to test ) sry xD

Small update got a rtx 3090 ti runs cyberpunk without any Problem whole system pulls 580w with the i7 8700k at 4.7ghz so even this * shitty * psu can handel it beeing using it for a week it even runs fine with the 3090 ti sitting at 2.1ghz
