  1. Can i create a new partition on my hard drive so that windows would see it as seperate? I dont have any form of media device that can hold what I want to save
  2. I currently have the windows 8.1 enterprise evaluation that is valid for only 4 more days. I have a way of installing a non evaluation windows but i want to keep all my stuff... In the setup it said that I cannot keep my files from old windows when I upgrade so I am wondering that if I create a folder on the root of my hard drive, will windows delete it when it trys to install? or will it just leave it?
  3. I was wondering if anyone know anything about using my old router (Huawei HG556a) which came with an internet plan with my old ISP, vodafone, with my current ISP, slingshot, (both crappy ISP's, i know) Now, i know my account username and password for my ISP, i can get into the router settings, and i have googled around and cant find any useful solutions anywhere. So, if it wasn't clear, i need to use my old router to set up a wireless connection using my current slingshot account. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. So, the modem i currently have is usually positioned upstairs, near my kitchen, though i want to move it downstairs since i am the only real user of the internet in my house. I want to move it to my room, in which i have one outlet internet thing, problem is, it doesn't have the same connectors. The one upstairs has a Ethernet port, and one of those old phone line connectors, while the one downstairs has only a phone line connector. I have a cable that goes from the old phone connector line to DSL, of which i need in order to plug in the modem downstairs, while upstairs, i use an Ethernet to DSL cable that was set up by my ISP. When i try to use my cable to plug in the modem downstairs, the power LED goes on, the 'Internet' LED stays off, and the DSL light flashes, which usually idicates it it trying to find a connection i think. Any ideas on what i could do?

  6. copy the drivers from another pc ont a flash drive, then copy those files from the flash drive to your pc
  7. Ok, that might fix it. I was just wondering whether the laptop wasn't showing any wireless networks, or if it just wouldn't connect to yours
  8. yep. that ^^. at least that solved it when i had the issue
  9. I had the EXACT same problem, but with a desktop. So, you can get into the windows installation part thing when it asks you what partition to save the OS to? EDIT: changed 'cant' to 'can'
  10. Looks like no one else is replying, so ill step in with my extremely limited knowledge . I think the 780 Ti would be very close to the SLI 760's though i would guess that the 780 Ti would even pull ahead in some circumstances. But then you have all the problems of SLI. they would probably be within a 25% Margin max.
  11. No need for car, $2000 on a rad ass bike, and $3000 on an equally rad gaming rig. youll get mean fit too
