  1. Try with just one screen and see what happens. After this, try with the other screen ON ITS OWN and see what happens. This will narrow down whether it's an issue with just one monitor or a problem with both monitors being used at the same time. If the issue persists after this, post back here with results and we'll go from there. Hope this helps
  2. Low latency between the memory and the GPU, not low latency between the card and the headset. The latter is what affects nausea. Apart from increasing frame rates, HBM will have 0 effect on whether VR causes nausea or not.
  3. Optimise. I'm English. Like I said, each to their own. Personally I wouldn't use one. If you see a benefit, then you go for it, but for most people I'd wager it's not going to be that effective.
  4. I use auto hotkey with a script to change the default audio device with 1 key. F6 for headphones and F7 for home cinema. Do a quick google for "auto hotkey". Hope this helps
  5. I disagree. Any program which is designed to "optimise" memory use, only really serves to use more memory. Windows does a good job of managing memory and any decently written program will manage memory well too. If the memory optimiser works by removing data from memory, it could have the opposite effect and cause programs to run slower. Personally, I wouldn't ever use any such "memory optimising" program, but each to their own.
  6. Defragment your ram? RAM is solid state, you can't defragment it... Also, you shouldn't be getting anywhere near that much memory use in CSGO. Finally, your monitors refresh rate does not affect how many frames your graphics card puts out.
  7. Usually 3 days in my experience EDIT: 3 working days that is
  8. "well I have this magnet that my dad uses to hold metal together when welding" This made me so so happy
  9. What do you mean it doesn't work? EDIT: Just because it's not your MAC address doesn't give you the right to post it on the internet
  10. These drives (SSHD) work by caching files which are regularly accessed on the SSD part of the drive. If you're moving a file which isn't regularly accessed, it probably won't be cached in the SSD. This means you'll be limited to the hard disk part of the drive for your file transfer, in which case, 80-90MB/s is perfectly normal. Remember, even though the HDD is connected to a 6Gb/s interface, does not mean the drive is capable of transferring at 6Gb/s. Hope this helps
  11. This. Only allow devices you know on the network, using MAC address filtering. I would recommend you do this rather than just blocking that one phone. It makes it a bit more of a pain to connect new devices, but it adds a strong layer of security. Hope this helps
  12. Have you tried a different monitor, or another PC on that monitor? If you haven't, do that first. If another monitor works fine, then your monitor is the issue. If another PC works fine on your monitor, then something in your PC is the issue. If the problem persists with a different monitor on your PC, again, your PC is the issue. Secondly, it really sounds like a graphics card issue more than anything else to me. Test your RAM as others have stated above, but if that isn't a/the problem then I'd recommend you RMA the graphics card. Only do this after you've tested the monitor. Hope this helps
  13. I presume it wasn't your choice Andy?
  14. Then buy a decent monitor instead of a TV? Why do you need to replace the TV? I don't understand
