  1. Might be in the wrong topic but it's not really liquid cooling just a question about where you plug in an fan for air cooling.
  2. This one here > http://cplonline.com.au/gigabyte-ga-z370-aorus-gaming-3-lga-1151-atx-motherboard.html is "Z370-AORUS" Not sure what that means. Other than that I haven't been able to find a Z370-A board thats black with RGB lighting. I don't think this one is CL either because it says it supports i3 CPUs. On the other hand I could just not overclock and leave it at stock speed.
  3. Well it's clearly not going to work because everybody says that it's going to run really hot when I overclock on it. I need a Z370-A board apparently, a black or black and red one. Do they come in black or black/red?
  4. Ok, What about an Asus one? http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/asus-rog-strix-z370-h-gaming-atx-1151-motherboard/ROG-STRIX-Z370-H-GAMING I know it's the same chipset but does that mean the VRM is also garbage?
  5. Country: Australia (I have found the MSI Z370 Gaming PLUS Motherboard which is Red/Black and goes with my color theme on newegg for a good price) Use: I use it for 144Hz 1440p Gaming (I have a 1080ti and 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM). I also use it for occasional video editing of uncompressed 1080p 60fps footage from a six week holiday overseas. Here is my build: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/C9JrZ8 There is no other board for a good price that goes with my color theme. https://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813144113&cm_re=MSI_-_Z370_GAMING_PLUS-_-13-144-113-_-Product Why is everybody saying it's a Ryzen board? The picture here of the socket is intel. I'm missing something. https://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813144113&cm_re=MSI_-_Z370_GAMING_PLUS-_-13-144-113-_-Product It says LGA1151 but not anything about the Coffee-Lake version of LGA1151 because I heard the CL 1151 sockets are different from regular LGA1151 sockets. Cheers.
  6. I need a black or black and red board and the only choice I have is the MSI Z370 boards. I was told it has shit RAM overclocking ability but who even OC's their RAM. Could you recommend?
  7. Well, I don't have any other choice do I? I need a black or black and red board. I have 3200MHz RAM why would I overclock it?
  8. I need an either black board or a black and red board. Could you recommend?
  9. another thing.... here > https://au.pcpartpicker.com/product/sxDzK8/intel-core-i7-8700k-37ghz-6-core-processor-bx80684i78700k it says on of the sites has the CPU "in stock" but when I click on the link it says I need to pre-order. I don't wanna wait for it more than 3-4 weeks. Should I order it from that site?
  10. I am looking at pre-ordering an i7 8700K from here http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/intel-core-i7-8700k-3.70ghz-lga1151-coffeelake-cpu/BX80684I78700K but it says "use only CL motherboard". I don't know what CL means. I am looking at this motherboard here >https://www.newegg.com/global/au/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813144113&cm_re=MSI_-_Z370_GAMING_PLUS-_-13-144-113-_-Product. Thanks.
  11. So for 1440p Ultra settings 144Hz (not necessarily 144fps consistently) with a 1080 Ti, would a 7700K be suitable? I need a PC right now and I obviously can't get my hands on a 8700k or an 8600k.
