  1. Hi there. Since the last Windows update (about two days ago), I'm having issues with application windows - more specifically, maximizing the window doesn't fully maximize it. It appears to be, but there is a thin bar of my background at the top and the very bottom is hidden by my taskbar. I haven't been able to find a way to fix this. I have a dual monitor setup - one 1440p monitor and a 1080p monitor. I don't know if it's relevant. Any suggestions? My graphics drivers are up to date, I believe.
  2. Hi there! I am building a two-PC streaming/gaming setup and I wanted to know which processors would be best in each system. I already have the parts. The two CPUs I have are the i7-7820X and the i7-8700K. One build is meant strictly for gaming. By gaming, I mean AAA titles and emulation. The other is for streaming and recording that gameplay and rendering. I suppose this goes back to the old core clock vs core count debate: the 7820X is baseclocked much lower, at 3.6 GHz, but has 8 cores, and the 8700K is baseclocked at 3.7 (but can be overclocked far higher easily, which I intend to do) and has 6 cores. I know for emulation in particular, core clock is immensely important as it usually only utilizes 2 cores, and also that many games don't take full advantage of threading and cores. Note: I will be using software (CPU) encoding for the streaming. Any suggestions? Thank you!
  3. Hi, there! I'm aware that there are likely other forums with the same or similar titles; however, I'm hoping for a recommendation based on my situation. I own a Blue Yeti Pro microphone, and I intend to use it for various applications. However, I live in college - I have a small room, with a fairly small desk. My desk hardly has edges to clamp anything on to. I own a tripod, but it's large and unwieldy for such a small room. The microphone came with a desk stand - the issue is that any bumps or vibrations from the table are easily heard in the microphone. I'm hoping for a recommendation on what to do, as a tripod is large and not easily maneuverable and I can't clamp anything. There are no viable surfaces near my desk for a clamp, and I also can't drill holes in my desk (for obvious reasons.) Perhaps there's a product or item that would solve this? I would prefer a shock mount with the mount, but if not, I have a shock mount already. Thanks for your time!
