    This.
She had to quickly access the computer and I didn't have time for a proper fix, which would've consumed the time, which I didn't have.
The only things on that account were browser bookmarks and photos which I easily transferred to the other account.

Mom couldn't log in on her user acc. in Windows 7. I said that if you really need to access your computer right now I might have to delete your account. Do you have anything on there that I should move onto an external drive just in case?
'No no no! My Facebook and my e-mail are on there! I can't get my bills without my e-mail!'
I tried to simply explain that her Facebook and e-mail accounts wouldn't get deleted if I deleted her user account on Windows.
She continiues cooking and a moment later I said: 'Alright, I deleted your old user account and made a new one, the photos you had are still on it.'
'MY FACEBOOK AND E-MAIL AND ALL MY PASSWORDS ARE GONE WHY DID YOU DELETE THEM!?!'
Then proceeded to explain that nothing happened.
She also thought that if I made a new Windows user acc. with a new passwords then all her other passwords would get changed.

    This is basically a conversation that I had with my friend;

Me: Why are you using internet explorer? (IE 6)
    Him: Because it is awsome!
Me: Why do you like it?
    Him:Because it is fast!
Me: You do realize that firefox is a lot better in every way, right?
Him: No, firefox sucks I used it and it was slow. (keep in mind this is the guy who has a computer but no internet anywhere but the library...)
Me: I don't know how it was slow for you but it is definitely faster for almost everybody else.

After that the conversation pretty much ended, and he started to talk to another person trying to tell him that a core 2 duo is faster than an i7, but that is different story. (Saying that core 2 duo, meant that it had 2 CPUs or something.)

The latest for me, is my mother calling me to ask why her computer mouse doesn't work (while shouting that it's a piece of crap and what not), when I get there, I find she managed to plug the USB mouse in the Ethernet port of her laptop.. Couldn't help facepalming in front of her.

so this one time I was hanging out with my friend who is the manager at a tech shop by where I live and a girl comes in and buys a 2tb hard drive. we let her know that we install hard drives for $1 (the cost of the sata cable we use) and she says "just because I am a woman does not mean I cant work on computers" and leaves in a huff. two days later she comes back in saying that the HDD is not working so we take the computer in to look at it, we open it and the HDD is nowhere to be seen, so we ask her where it is. and it turns out that she scanned it and put the scanned image on her desktop to install the drive. and to top that off she threw away the drive she paid almost $200 for and she wanted us to give her a new one.

A really old man (worst example EVER), was comming to our pc store because he bought a pc that didn't work.
he plugged it in, and nothing worked.
    ...
he didn't push the power button...
that said, he came back. the screen is still black.
same freaking reason. he did not turn the darn thing on, we had to draw out the symbol of a on/off switch, i walked to the back and laughed reeeaaally hard i allmost cried, 3 times in a row (first for the not working pc, second for the not working monitor and third for the actual drawing) XD
this has really happened :P but the guy was old (75?) and probably has never used an electrical device in his whole life (country side).
that was the least tech savvy person i have ever encountered.

So, here's my experiences, that I can come to think of now:

    - After I've fixed a computer for a friend or relative, they always blame me for every future problem.
    - Two guys were talking in an MMORPG I used to play, and one of them said that he overclocked his hard drive and his computer is now more than twice as fast.
    - Whenever I tell someone that I like computers and technology, they always assume I just post stuff on Facebook and play Farmville all day long.
    - My mom freak out every time an email from someone she doesn't know, slips through the spam filter and end up in her inbox. Something worth mentioning is that she use hotmail, so she freaks out a lot.

    Edit: fixed the formatting.

Okay, so I took my system apart and noticed that there were some PWM headers on my Corsair H80i that were exposed (I am using 3-pin SP120's so 1 pin of each header is exposed). I wasn't sure if this is a possible source of the shock so I wrapped each header with electrical tape anyway. I am not experiencing the shock anymore. I hope that did the trick for good.

    Thanks guys!
