But what am I going to spend hours upon hours of researching now? Looking at components and making build lists. Pondering about what to buy, when to buy.

You probably will not be able to push up the HZ far enough to make a significant difference and overclocking consequences as listed above far out weigh the gains. In my own personal experience with overclocking monitors image quality can take a big hit.

if you are using an nvidia gpu:
 
Right click on desktop Click "NVIDIA Control Panel" from the drop down menu Go to Display > Change resolution if it's not already in that menu item. Make sure your monitor is seleced under "1. Select the display you would like to change." Under "2. Choose the resolution" click "customise..." Click "Create Custom Resolution..." Change the "Refresh rate (Hz):" to your desired spec Click "Test" and then "Yes" to apply your refresh rate change Select your preset under Custom Click "Ok" To check that it has been applied it should say "Refresh rate:" and then xx Hz from the drop down menu You need to click "Apply" in the bottom right corner to save the changes I don't know how to do this with AMD GPU's though and I definitely wouldn't try this with an intel iGPU.

I feel for some android users though who get security updates months later or even not at all in some cases.... and i really wish it were not the case. one of the main reasons i don't use an android-based phone...

Could you be using up all your pcie lanes?
 
IIRC 170 chipsets have 16 direct2cpu pcie lanes which can give 2 cards 8 lanes.  I think nvidia cards require a min of 8 lanes to work.
 
There are additional lanes provided by the PCH, but I dont know if video cards are meant to work on those.  Maybe PCH pcie slots support only 1x to 4x lanes not the 8x required by nvidia cards.

Anonymous sure has changed, they seem to react with emotions instead. What they should've done is leak the confidential info that links him to being bribed by ISPs. Things like his communications with ISPs and other relevant people involved.
 
The other thing to show is to leak data about ISPs and any plans in relevance to internet control.

I think it's more like because only people with problems of the card actually leave reviews, while those with cards that work fine dont. The same can be seen on the Gigabyte 1060 3gb and MSI 1060 3gb.
 
1060 6gb are the biggest BS I have seen in recent years. Charging 35% extra (cheapest 1060 3gb starts at $190) for 10% extra performance, bum deal.

Because they exploit workers, pushy shitty hardware as great, bought out a shit load of nan flash and D Ram bringing up the prices, don't pay taxes anywhere near were there they should be act like they are creating creating the next big thing when they aren't, they use there own proprietary media, no SD expansion, and they treat customers like shit
