  1. I don't know about import fees, but you also have to consider that Newegg UK does not include VAT (like Newegg US), whereas other sellers on PC Part-picker UK do include VAT in their price listed in their prices, so be careful when you see prices on newegg, as they may not be as cheap as you think, so that £100 cheaper may be just VAT not being accounted for.
  2. On console, BF4, Destiny (1) and Overwatch, was top 500 at one point on console OW (So many people use M+K at GM+ that it contributed to me building a PC) Am pretty good at most racing games, currently completing Forza Horizon 3 However on PC, Probably Minecraft survival games, as it is one of the only games that ran on my old PC so I inevitably spent a lot of time on it
  3. @michelin_boi I finally got it fixed, had to take apart and put everything back together (apart from CPU/CPU cooler/MB) and it just worked first time. No idea what changed, did nothing different, just one of those things I guess lol. Maybe a bad connection, but whatever it was, it works now and i'm not gonna question it. Thanks again for the help, just got to install drivers now.
  4. I'm almost 100% certain it is not a memory issue. i'll look under the CPU cooler to see if i did something extremely stupid like miss-align it, but thanks for your help and patience anyway. I'll let you know when I fix it in the end
  5. I am confident the monitor works, as it worked on a separate PC and have tried both VGA and HDMI with this PC, with both saying No Display after plugging them in this PC. I'm 99% sure that the CPU is installed correctly, but I have not checked since putting on the CPU cooler obviously.
  6. OK tried each of these things, still no BIOS, RAM LED's still work but still no case fans or CPU fans spinning
  7. @michelin_boi MB:http://www.gigabyte.us/Motherboard/GA-AB350-Gaming-3-rev-10#kf RAM:CMU16GX4M2C3000C15R Last thing i did was plug in the graphics card, however this is the first time i am turning it on I've tried plugging the hdmi port into both the MB and the GPU Yes the monitor is turned on, i know because the standby button is on, and when initially turning it on it says "no signal" I have tried taking the GPU out and putting it in again if that is what you mean by reseating, however not the RAM as that seems to be working My case/Motheboard does not beep or make any sound when turning on I have tried the USB's on the MB as well now and they seem to be working
  8. OK, so I've built my new PC and I get a black screen on boot However when turning on the system, the power button is on and my LED ram turns on, but no fans spin (Case or CPU or GPU) Specs are: Ryzen 5 1600 Stock cooler Gigabyte Gaming 3 motherboard 16GB Corsair 3000mhz vengence LED ram EVGA GTX 1070 SC WD blue 1TB 7200 RPM drive Samsung 650 pro 250GB SSD 650W Evga CPU NZXT S340 I have no idea what's going on I know the USB ports are working, and the power LED turns on, however nothing else happens
  9. Hey guys, my friend wants to upgrade his PC from an old build. His specs are: Intel core i5 4690 Intel stock cooler Gigabyte - GA-Z97P-D3 ATX 8GB of DDR3 RAM (unknown model) 1TB Hard-drive (unknown model) Radeon R9 270X Unknown case Unknown PSU (However i'm assuming it is the case PSU) His budget is ~£1000, however i'm not sure if it would be best for his money to upgrade his current build and save some money, or create a completely new one from scratch. He uses his PC mostly for gaming. He currently has a 1080p/60hz display, but is looking to get a new monitor, however if he does, it comes out of his £1000 budget He already has KB+M He wants to run recent games as well as he can by spending his money as smartly as he can Thanks for the help in advance
  10. I was planning on upgrading and getting a new monitor, but it is not part of my budget, as i was hoping that during black Friday the price may go down significantly enough so that a 1440p/144HZ G-sync monitor may be <£350
