GMK Lux, GMK sets are usually only available through group buys (~6 months lead time) and are quite pricey (90-160 USD base kits). Best price/way to buy these are getting them at group buy, alternatively you can try and grab one of the extras after the GB has shipped but those sell out in a matter of hours. Or you can pay way too much on mechmarket (300+ sometimes)

A bit on the expensive side but these wrist rests are pretty high quality. https://turbulentlabs.com/shop/tkl-keyboard-wrist-rest-navy/

New internals for my custom. Creams on carbon fiber.

b emoji reacted to TheChromaBristlenose in Linus loves the model M, so when is he getting one of these?
The biggest difference is that the Model M is buckling spring over membrane, and Model F has a capacitive PCB (and inherent NKRO). The spring is also narrower on the Model F, with thinner, sharper-feeling tactility in my experience - actuation force is apparently also lighter but I couldn't tell when I tried the two of them. Model F is famously pingier in sound but that's related to the case materials too.

Not consistent, sluggish and will probably gum up after a while. You get more variety with Krytox as well

The advantage Krytox has is that it is consistently smooth with its higher ptfe concentration and is easier to consistently apply, plus since Krytox grades are standardized it's easy to know how viscous, smooth, sound dampening, tactility reducing a certain krytox will be. That's why most of the keyboard community uses Krytox.

The perfect keyboard for me would probably be an OTD CL with 1984 vintage west german stems in a 1988 PCB mount mx black housing with 55g kbdmod springs, and a set of OG cherry dye subs from a Cherry G81-3000SAA (Blue arabic)
