  1. Hi, Is anyone else having Task Manager Not Responding Randomly? Notice all text goes bold and stops responding. Simply closing it and restarting Task Manager fixes it again for a bit. Sometimes works fine for days at a time. Happening randomly and has been doing this crap since I've been using Win11 22H2 (was a clean install FYI). Have not been able to figure out the cause. Nothing is reported in Windows Event Log for example when this happens. Event viewer simply shows: The program Taskmgr.exe version 10.0.22621.2361 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel. Best, Will
  2. FYI, looks like the July update fixes this for most folks. Thank goodness.

  4. May 2023 update is bad and causing this issue it seems. Clearing cache doesn't help.

In that case, I'd wait for a Freesync 2 monitor with HDMI 2.1 and HDR10 (FYI: HDR10+ and Dolby Vision not supported at lunch as of now) to be released.
  6. That's called fraud. You know it's wrong info but you try and use it to your advantage anyway. Fraud! And now that there is this posting. What do you think the first thing their sysadmin is going to see, this thread.. No refund!!
  7. Make sure running latest BIOS? And latest graphics drivers. Sounds like full-blown hibernation (S4) rather than sleep (S1). See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/kernel/system-sleeping-states Some BIOS, by the way, let you control these sleep states. My 2011 Gigabyte board does. Sounds like an issue with sleep states.
  8. Clonezilla @ http://clonezilla.org/ is great for this. And yes free, OPEN SOURCE in fact!
