  1. Hi, How about the Ayaneo Slide? With a side-by-side comparison to the Ayaneo Air Plus.
  2. It looks like nobody on this forum bought a Win Max 2. It's better this way, because the support of GPD sucks. I replied to Sophie from GPD, but no answer to date.
  3. I tried GPD support. It seems they don't care much. They wrote this: "We are afraid it's USB4 compatible issue. We currently also received some feedback that USB4 can't output display. Since USB4 is new standard, the firmware that controller factory provided is not way perfect.,the compatibility is not as good. Sophie Wang Best Regards Kendyz@gpd.hk" What now?
  4. Well, then something is wrong.
  5. Are forum features behind a paywall or forum achievment? I can't find a way to quote or @ users, the editor seems too basic, only text. On other forums there are buttons for these kind of actions.
  6. I have a Problem with my GPD Win Max 2. The USB4 port doesn't function as it should. It takes charge and some USB data (like drives), but no display out (any kind), and no PCIe tunneling eighter (eGPU). I tried 5 USB-C dongles, no HDMI or DP video-out works. I tried USB-C external display too, with no success. Every time I want to connect a display to USB4 the operating system freezes, sometimes an error notification comes up after I unplug the external display. Sometimes the built in display goes dark or the image corrupts, but it recovers every time when I unplug the cable. I tried my Razer Core X eGPU too, it charges the laptop but no new device is shown in device manager. It behaves just like my AYA-NEO 2021 with USB 3.2. The integrated HDMI port works just fine. My AYA-NEO 2021 works with everything listed above but the eGPU, and naturally everything works with my OneXplayer Mini with USB4. It seems like GPD had false advertising, or is my Win Max 2 defective? Has anyone the same problems with a Win Max 2? Edit: AMD version
  7. Maybe it's too late to answer this, but I have one and had a few weeks with it. The keyboard is passable, the screen is way too small even compared to a 13", the trackpad is working well enough for it's size, the battery would last a day, but it's an overall NO for school use. It's meant to be a sofa laptop, more for very close up use then a lean back desktop experience.
  8. Hi, I have a Trekstor Primebook 13 as a "cheap-to-lose" laptop which I carry everywhere when I'm on the road for work, but when I'm at home it is plugged in to my bedroom TV (1080p Samsung) with a HDMI cable and microHDMI adapter on the laptop end. Today something magical has happened. My TV turned on as I plugged in the cable/adapter to the laptop. This has never happened before, and I couldn't replicate it since. I saw that there is a notification in the Action Center and I had hit Win+A to bring it up as I was plugging the cable in. As I reached for the TV remote I heard the TV turn on. I thought that the built in Intel HD 500 Graphics has CEC support and I hit the right hotkey to turn on the TV, but I can't replicate what happened, and I also can't find settings or proof for such feature. I would like to figure out why my TV turned on this one time. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for replies.
